UltraMXD-Vswab 1.0x Sensor Cleaning Swabs, Green, 12 Swabs

I used those swabs and they do work well. You need a few of them to do a complete cleaning. I bought them directly in the stores and they all came as a kit of four that included a vial with cleaning solution. Of course, I only needed to read the description to realize that it was not the case. However, there may be another soul like me that is allured by the price without realizing that you need to double it with the cost of the cleaning solution.

Better than swabs that I used before (12 swabs - $36), but very, very, very expensive. It should cost $5, no more.

These are pricy but do a great job. These leave no fibers and clean well with one pass. At least on Nikon you do have to be careful not to hit the sides when inserting the swab as it is a tight fit, but once placed correctly the swab covers the sensor as it should.

I purchased this item together with a Sensor Clean 8ml formula in order to clean the sensor of my CANON 60D . I have used couple other cleaning supplies as a LENS PEN and Rocket Blower with a limited success . Finally I send the camera to Canon for professional cleaning = 44$ but even the service center didn't do good enough job there were still many dust spots visible ( in movie mode only) and I especially told them that they are the problem ! Than I read about the Visible Dust Sensor Cleaning Swabs from Visible Dust . They are expensive but totally worth their price after using 2 swabs saturated with 4 drops of sensor clean solution I finally have clean sensor ! i highly recommend both products.

I have one of the first D800 that had issue with oil spots. I ordered these swabs with Vdust Plus Formula - VD2902544, only made it worse. And yes I did follow directions, used 4 swipes, one swawb per swipe in the same direction then thrown away. On the first two swipes some how the sensor became dirtier; after the swipe I got it to somewhat the same point of where I started.If I could have gotten my money back, I would.

I have used VisibleDust products for years, and needed a small set for travel.

Just got a repair bill from Nikon for my D4 for $2600 to repair scratches on the sensor caused by this product. Strongly suggest you avoid this product at all costs.

I've been cleaning my sensors for the longest time with these swabs, and while I never had a problem cleaning the D700 sensor, I was out of luck on the D800. I would always see tiny streaks left by the cleaning fluid (both Eclipse and VDust Plus). After contacting Visible Dust's support, they recommended the ORANGE swabs for cleaning the D800(e) sensor to me. I've ordered a pack and have yet to see if they will work better. I'm hesitant to buy future Visible Dust products at this point.
