The 2 stars reflects the fact that the book arrived with black dirty marks across the cover. Unfortunately, as a Christmas gift, this was awkward, as I didn't have time to return it and request a clean new looking copy, so had to give the dirty, marked copy as a gift.The actual content of the book itself is great, but when ordering a brand new book, it shouldn't arrive damaged/marked like that.

Das hochwertig gestaltete, fest gebundene Buch dokumentiert in chronologischer Reihenfolge (auf Englisch) die nahezu täglichen Stationen von Banksys Aufenthalt in New York im Oktober 2013, mit dem er seine Kunst unter dem Motto "Better Out Than In" (BOTI) zurück auf die Straßen und in die verschiedenen Viertel der Metropole brachte. Banksy bereicherte die Stadt damals in kurzer Abfolge um neue Street Art (Graffiti, Installationen) und Aktionen und löste mit jedem neuen Werk gemischte Reaktionen von Bewohnern und Touristen aus. Der Autor hat den Aufenthalt Banksys selbst miterlebt und teilt seine subjektiven Wahrnehmungen und Gedanken hierzu, angereichert mit größtenteils eigenen und teilweise auch von Dritten aufgenommenen (guten!) Fotos. Ein tolles Buch für jeden, der sich für Street Art im Allgemeinen und Banksy im Besonderen interessiert.
