Absolutely necessary for long range shooting....
You have to watch barrel temp and these work great. They stick well if you clean the barrel with an alcohol pad. You still need to replace them when they start to peel up. I stop to cool down at 55*C and pick back up at 40*C. That gives me 5-10 on-point shots. I start with target ammo to get to 40 then switch to match ammo and try to stay in that range. I am no expert but it works for me.

Great product
Great tool for measuring surface temperature. Very sticky sticker, lasts a long time. Sticker doesn't hold up in the dishwasher, but i would have been surprised if it did.

Not perfect but it works
Like others have said: It’s small If you are attaching it to a curved surface it’s hard to get it to stay attached What I did: I was attaching it to a hot water pipe and I held in place for a couple of minutes get the adhesive to stick better. Otherwise it would have curled up at the edges. The heat of the pipe probably helped in my situation. It’s been in place now for a couple months, so the adhesive is holding up. I needed this temperature range to check the temperature on a hot water heater output. It is “small” but the print is certainly readable. And the temperature reading appears to be accurate. I only needed one, but having a few extras is probably helpful if you’re struggling with the adhesive issue.

Work great for engine
Work great for my jetski to monitor head/pipe temperature.

Just what I needed!
Easy to install. It looks like an original part of the group head on my La Pavoni espresso machine. I haven’t checked its accuracy but I now have a scale to use to make adjustments. I also don’t know how long it lasts but it came with several extras. A lot of help for a small investment.

Literal trash
My hand indoors definitely isn’t -10°C. A 40°C error makes this literal trash.

Bought these as a replacement
These were cheaper than putting a temp gauge on the hot water side of my furnace. The old one was VERY old, so temp reading was not great. These did the trick.

Easy and Effective
I have these on every barrel. They work great.

Product works as advertised. The only issue is mounting this flat sticker on a round rifle barrel. I used twine to form it to the barrel for two sessions at the range. Now works great on my heavy barrel.

Helps me cut dow. On fuel for my camping stoves, gives a good indicator of temp, allowing for better fuel regulation while cooking, and let's you check if it's almost boiling without pulling the lid off to peek inside. Hasn't started peeling, on any of the pots yet, I pulled one off out of curiosity, difficult to remove, but left no residue.

I knocked off one star only because I've only had it on my rifle for one trip to the range. That may go up or down over time. I use these to monitor rifle barrel temperature as well and I am very happy with them and very happy with their size. I don't need anything larger than what these are to monitor where the red bars are. If you have a rifle with a barrel enclosed with a slotted forend then it might be hard to see depending on where it is placed but my rifle's barrel is fully exposed and the temp strip fits on perfectly after wiping the area down with alcohol before applying. For me, I would not want nor need anything larger than these. A quick glance tells me what I need to know. As for how accurate they actually are that I do not know but my current plan is to keep the bars to 45c / 113f max . This allows me to pace my shots and hopefully gives me a consistent point of reference for how hot it gets and not have to guess The only unknown for me right now is how long they function. The package says one year. Hopefully, that's one year after first applied and that does not apply or all the rest that are still in the package

Good product, works well but be careful of where you place it. I’ve burnt a few before I moved it to the top of my pot which gives alittle inaccurate temp. Price is way too high, could have been 4 stars

Temperatures are shown to be 20 degrees lower when checked against a Thermapen digital thermometer. For example: Tested at 205 degrees F - the strip indicated 176 F.
