Little Tikes 4-in-1 Baby Born Nursery

After reading several reviews and returning the "Badger Basket Folding Cradle Rosebud" (it just felt cheap), I was worried about three things: size, quality/durability and ease of assembly. The Little Tykes 4-in1 is 5 star in all areas.SIZE: The inside dimensions of the crib bed measures 9" wide x 18" long x 7.5" high. Plenty of room for multiple small dolls or one larger doll. (We don't own an American Girl doll, but are very happy that the 18" doll will probably fit perfectly). I don't know why they say "Fits up to a 13" doll"?!? The overall size is perfect for my tall 4 year old, and the feeding chair and lid snap down to make the overall dimension 13" deep x 23" wide x 16" tall (without the cute mobile). The feeding chair is a great size at 5" wide x 4.5" deep x 5" tall (with leg holes of about 3" oblong). Her favorite 14" chubby teddy sits up perfectly. We own a Melissa and Doug Deluxe Wooden high chair which is lovely and well made but MUCH too large to hold her dolls properly. They all slip out and it has never been fun to play with.QUALITY/DURABILITY: I love the heavy duty plastic. It is very strong, and will be easy to clean. I read other reviews that smaller kids could climb into it and I believe it. Once the lid is down, my daughter uses it as a bench (with lots of storage area inside). It should be called 5-in1 (including the bench).EASE OF ASSEMBLY: I always like to read the worst reviews, which often help adjust my expectations. I read one woman took an hour to assemble. I am not particularly strong and it just took me 15 minutes to zip through the 15 easy steps (with my daughter assisting!). Maybe they have made it easier but it still feels VERY stable. Only two of the "snaps" were really hard, but once I placed the first wo parts properly and put it on the floor using my body weight it snapped quickly. The other was the small lower piece to hold the mobile (which is made of a heavier plastic), so I used a flathead screwdriver and pushed gently. It snapped in place after about 15 seconds of nudging.Overall, I am pleased with the value and multiple uses. My daughter loves it and I'm sure it will last long enough for her to enjoy it for years. Glad we purchased it now.

This is functional as a doll crib, but it is rather small. It's nice if you don't have a lot of space, but larger girls may not like the small size. I would say it's appropriate for toddler girls.In addition, the pieces are somewhat poorly manufactured. What should be an easy to snap together crib, turns into a crazy-making project. You need enough force to cram a button into a hole, but not so much that you start bending the plastic. It ended up coming together, but the annoyance was hardly worth it.The kid likes it, I wouldn't say she loves it. It's nice that it's a space saver and does double duty.

We love little tikes toys, normally I give them a 5 star review but we had one problem with this toy so it prevents me from leaving a 5 star.The mobile piece did not fit. We had to leave it off because the hole cut is in the right size to actually get the mobile in place.Otherwise, great toy for little girls. We like that is is smaller and does not take up a lot of space in their room, they like the colors and that it does several different things.The design is sturdy and over all well put together. The snap together design makes it easy to put together.

This crib was such a hit for my little niece and has kept her interest for a year now without getting bored with it I had to buy one for my daughter! Of course she loves it!! Being 20 months old and loving to nurture her baby dolls she was instantly in love with her new baby station!! One thing that was consistent with my niece and daughter was the mobile attachment gets ripped off often and just had to be removed from the toy all together. No biggy though it doesnt stop the functioning of this wonderful toy!

We just bought the Little Tykes 4 in 1 Baby Born Nursery for our 2 year old granddaughter and she fell in love with it, as we thought she would. She is going to be a big sister soon, and her playtime with her dollies is so cute! There is only one very minor design feature...the little accessories don't fit very well on the little shelf provided and fall into the crib, but we created a little place on the right end of the crib for storage of the few pieces that accessorize the set. They are for feeding the "baby" and "changing her diaper." Big brother has also gotten into the act and helps his sister play. It's a great play set and will, undoubtedly, get a lot of use! I imagine it will get that much more use once the new baby sister or brother comes along.

The mobile arm pops out, leaving a big hole into which my daughter shoves all kids of stuff. Not to mention that the arm then becomes a weapon. Also, there are holes in the yellow plastic behind the big pink sticker. She stuck her little fingers through the sticker and into the holes, so it started looking junky right away. If you buy this, cover the holes with sturdy tape before applying the sticker. For the price, I guess it's okay, but I wish I'd bought something else.

I like the versatility of this product. I bought this for my two year old so that she could feel involved when I had my second child. She can change her baby at the fold down station while I change our newborn. She likes using the feeding station too, and when she's not using the crib for her baby she'll use it as a storage bin. The color isn't quite as obnoxious as it is in the photo pictured (the frame is a little lighter pink). It saves buying a bunch of different accessories/furniture to accompany a baby doll.

This is really cute once it's all set up. It seems pretty sturdy too. BUT...it is a real pain to set up. You need a lot of muscle. You have to be VERY careful not to break the little tabs that help the pieces interlock. It took two adults over an hour to put it together. The instructions were excellent (for the most part). The hard part was just having the strength to lock the pieces together. I think the manufacturer needs to rework this so it's easier to put together. If you are able to get it together without breaking anything, the bed should last forever.
