Bought to replace an old pair of the same which served me very well for a number of years, withstanding total neglect to their care!The steel toecap is a great reassurance around horses. They have never let the wet in, and in winter the toecap helps protect toesfrom nippy weather. I'd recommend these to anyone - they do what the blurb says. You can ride in them - good heel - though I findthe 'feel' isn't the best because of the thick soles. Sizing - go by continental. I'm a size 6 which is a 39 in my book. The manufacturer'ssize 39 is given as a 51/2 equivalent. I bought their size 6 last time and they were too big really, but I managed OK wearing 2 pairs ofsocks. Went for the 51/2 this time and they're better.

Ive been purchasing these boots for over ten years and have always found them to be excellent. However, these ones are poorer quality leather, very uncomfortable to wear and have cracked at the toe crease already after a few weeks use so are letting water in. Very disappointed and would not recommend you buy these.

Worn mountain horse boots for years. Dont know what's happened but there not as comfortable these days. These will be the last pair I buy.

Slightly big size but inner soles provided, so fine. Waterproof, tough and great for riding. Plus saves your toes when your horsey mate tries to play footsy and squish your foot!

I love my Mountain Horse Protective Jodhpur Boots. They arrived in good time, before estimated date. Very securely packaged. They are excellent boots which look no nonsense. Some Jodhpur boots look flimsy but these are very sturdy and your feet are well protected, the steel shank also provide support when riding, your feet feel secure in the stirrup.

I hope they so not crack across the toe cap this time.

I have had my last pair for over 5 years so I didn't hesitate to purchase another pair. They wear so well and don't need breaking in. They arrived on time too. The fit was a little bigger than I remembered very generous.
