Wonderful Weekly Planner for Travelers Notebook
I honestly love this layout. Theres no silly inspirational quotes or excessive amounts of space devoted to pages I wont ever fill out. The ability to start my day planner at any time during the year is a huge plus with this notebook. The grid on the opposite page is fantastic for little notes or thoughts. Simple, perfect and customizable. This is my second time purchasing this, and it wont be my last.

Weekly calendar; simple and elegant
This is a cute and easy notebook. Can be used with the cover or alone, slipped into a purse or folded in half and crammed into my pockets. It is sturdy and the paper quality is good. A simple design to carry my thoughts and plan my weeks. I like that the weeks are empty, so I could start it mid year. I never started buying my calendars in January, so here I am starting another one in February. Perfectly good for the price. A comparable weekly calendar can often by twice as much, or slightly cheaper if you use the Muji option. But this is my favorite because you can start from any week. The cover is also a nice one. Slightly thicker to protect the papers, but not so heavy as to add bulk. The usability is also nice. The papers can lie flat easily, so the binding is loose enough to comfortably write on both sides of the paper at a time. One can easily hook a rubber band or a pen onto this book, then you need nothing else!

My ideal planner
Completely in love with this planner. I love the layout, and the grid to the side for taking notes. The other planner is more of the traditional timed thing--I hate those planners. I'm not the do this at X:30 type, and the very idea of it makes my skin crawl. I prefer more flexibility about when I do things. The vertical, timed planner also doesn't give me enough room to write down all that I need to do the way I want. Sometimes I might need to document something that happened on a particular day (why not do it in a dated space I already have set aside?), or jot down a quick additional note about an assignment or task. I have plenty of room to do all of that with this planner. It's just big enough to make note of everything, without being heavy or chunky. No spirals to get caught on anything. And the paper is seriously awesome to write on with a fountain pen. The downside is that you have to fill out the dates in the book, but that can have its advantages, too. For instance, for an academic planner, I can skip the holiday breaks if all I'm going to do over a semester break is lounge around with nothing to do, and pick up after last semester's finals week with the week when the new semester begins. For those who switch between planners frequently, an open-style planner like this would be ideal. You could keep track of things during the weeks you're using it, drop it for a while, then come back and pick up again where you left off, without having to buy a new insert. Deceptive simplicity is really what the Midori Traveler Notebook is all about, so it's fitting that even their weekly planner would be so stripped down, yet have so many possibilities for how to use it. Everything is like a blank canvas for you to fill how you want. The Midori weekly planner is the kind of weekly planner I've been wanting all of my life.

I love this paper!!
Loooooove this!!! Its a green cover (my favorite color) and I adore the paper. Its cream. Win Win Win!!! Its great with fountain pens and stickers attach beautifully and it takes watercolor and gouache which are the icing on the cake!

Clean layout, just enough for me to put down what's important and leave out what is not....
Love the layout and the whole easy to adapt system. The paper is in good quality and grid layout helps me keep the note tight. I actually use 3 different dairies simultaneously. The bi-monthly grid layout diary's large layout is great for me to use for work as I use it as a dual function notebook/sketchbook and calendar, it is my main use as daily diary of details that I need to put down. I use a monthly calendar for project progress tracking, and use this weekly calendar for my personal affairs, the blank space on the left side allows me to put quick agenda tags like wife's birthday, credit payment made, oil change done, and the big grid space on the right allows me to put more details if needed and even some space for stick on receipts, concert tickets, and other stuff by using double some other scrapbook/journal accessories Midori/Traveler's Company offers such like pocket sticker, double side tape, envelop, etc. This perfect size allows me to put down what's important. All in all, the insert system is so easy to use and modify. The size is kind small to some, but it actually makes me more cautions about what I put down and leaves better impression to myself. Cannot say enough how good the traveler notebook system is, and it is super trendy as well! :)

Great daily and weekly planner if you don't have a lot of appointments to track
I use this as my daily/weekly planner. The left side is set up for days of the week and the right hand page is a blank grid for weekly planning. There is also a blank 4-page index at the front of the journal that has 12 columns total with 31 rows each so it could be used as a year-in-advance planner. I haven't quite figured out how to use that for myself but it's appealing. The paper is nice and not too slick and the color is a sort of off-white manilla that is easy on the eyes. If you have a lot of weekly to do items and a limited need for tracking appointments, this works really well. Full disclosure ... I keep switching back and forth between this and my Wunderlist app or use them both. I can't make up my mind. :-)

Good weekly diary or planner.
Good diary for weekly use. Plenty of room for listing events on the date page, opposite page is gridded for notes.
