I absolutely love, love, LOVE these! I’ve recommended them to quite a few people at my art school. They loved them as well. They’re well worth the price!

Previously purchased a smaller set.Which was great, but this gave me more options And a better case for storage and transport to and from class. Happy with purchase.

The pencils are good, the knead eraser was moist and elastic as expected. The charcoal crayons are small and this is coming from someone with small hands, they are 3/16ths in diameter or 0.1875 inches in diameter. Whereas the pencils are 5/16ths of an inch or 0.3125 inches which isn't the size of the charcoal inside but the wood at the ends. The pencils themselves are 7 inches so normal sizes and smooth. the crayons are approximately 2 and 2/4ths inches long. They are tinny, they have color to them and good pigment but not worth this price.3 stars for the pencils and eraser, would not recommend for an active charcoal user or someone trying to get their monies worth.

First off, I LOVE conte crayons and pencils. I use them all the time. I also think I'm good at sharpening my pencils by hand with a blade.( conte pencils do not sharpen well in a sharpener,even if you can find one to fit) I bought this set because most of my previous pencils etc were down to stubs so I thought this was a great way to freshen up my supplies. All the pencils are broken inside the casings. They have been dropped to much and are useless... it's so frustrating. The crayons just are fine. I break those into smaller pieces anyway and use them on all sides. But I will not be ordering pencils in the mail again. It's a terrible waste. Not happy at all. But I love conte pencils and will continue to buy them from an actual store where poor packaging and rough handling does not ruin them all.

The crayons are normal size. Not sure what the other reviewer thought they were supposed to be. However, the set was so ancient that the soft white eraser was desicated. It crumbled into clumps on the outside but was gooey in the middle when I unwrapped the yellow-stained cellophane. Yuk. No, it could not possibly be revived by kneading. Fortunately I have a few kneaded erasers on hand so it’s a bummer but not a total loss.

Conte a Paris ist eine bekannte Marke, die gerne von Künstlern verwendet wird. Die Sketching Box enthält im Grunde alles, was man für eine fein ausgearbeitete Skizze benötigt. Die Qualität der Stifte und Kreiden lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Vorsicht ist beim Spitzen angesagt - wie im angehängten Bild zu sehen, ist ein Stück des Holzes beim Rötelstift bereits bei der esrten Umdrehung im Spitzer abgebrochen. Die Stifte sollten aber grundsätzlich viel flacher angespitzt wreden, als dies mit einem Spitzer möglich ist, deshalb hier besser gleich zu einem Messer oder Skalpell greifen. Trotzt dessen, dass das Holz (durch meine eigenverschuldete Ungeduld) abgebrochen ist, sitzt die Rötelmine sehr fest und hat sogar das nachträgliche Anspitzen mit meinem stumpf gewordenen Skalpell überstanden. Die restlichen Stifte habe ich gleich mit einer neu bestellten, scharfen Skalpell-Klinge gespitzt, das ging dann einwandfrei.

Les crayons’ carrés Conté sont très pigmentés et permettent une bonne approche de l’ esquisse travaillée par exemple à la sanguine. La boîte m’est parvenue en parfait état et les mines sont intactes.

A parte il primo pacco che è arrivato senza una protezione interna, perciò i carboncini erano tutti spezzati (ho fatto il reso senza problemi), il secondo, col giusto imballaggio, mi ha soddisfatto: matite e carboncini di ottima qualità.
