Maglite Rechargable Battery Pack For Mag-lite Maglight

Fits perfectly in my old MagCharger, replaced a 13 year old battery that went dead, now my light works like brand new again. This new battery was slightly shorter than the old one but the Maglight spring is more than big enough to compensate for the difference. I'm sure I will be buying another battery soon for my other flashlight since its battery is just as old.

A mag lite flashlight compatible 6V battery pack provided by Kastar arrived in less than 24 hours via Amazon. I installed it in the flashlight and began charging it. I’m going to charge it over night. No instructions came with it. The battery pack is of good quality and hopefully it will last a good amount of time. I see no reason why it wouldn’t.

Fits my Mag Lite perfectly and holds a charge a very long time. Very happy with this purchase.

Positive, cautiously optimistic. I may come back and give it 5 stars; however, the buyer should be aware of the following: I’m including photos of the side-by-side comparison of my original (dead) Streamlight battery and this one. Master has the same battery listed a couple of different ways depending on what you search for. I’ve included photos of the 2 compatibility listings, both showing Maglight as well as Streamlight compatible lights. I have an old Streamlight SL20-X. As you can see in the photo, the original is slightly longer. Stretching the tail cap spring slightly easily compensated for this and the battery does fit snugly with no movement. So far after charging filling my old light is alive again. Just note the difference in the battery length and how to overcome it. Also, this battery is listed as 4400 mAh whereas the original is 2500.

I’ve have a large D-Cell sized maglite flashlight for almost 30 years. The battery has been replaced three times over the decades. This battery is the fourth and most recent replacement, it charges well the light is like new. Not much more to say.

Would give it 0 stars if that were possible. Bought 1/31/25. Keep it in charger/holder just like my other maglite. No longer takes a charge and the battery presently has 1Volt. This is the 2nd one of this brand I have had and the first one only lasted a year. WILL NOT buy this brand again.
