Really pleased with this. Well made and also looks good. The filter works well and is easy to clean. Most importantly it produces a great cup of coffee .I am not a coffee expert but it certainly suits me. The glass jug is thinnish glass but perfectly fine in my view..

A new induction hob forced me to abandon my stove top 'moka' pot that has been my morning ritual for more than two decades. After much research I opted for the Coffee Gator pour over kettle and drip coffee brew combination. I also tried out the AeroPress. Both produced excellent coffee but the coffee gator won because it brews the coffee while I can get on with the rest of making breakfast. It takes under 5 minutes, about the same time as my moka pot, so it is quick too. The AeroPress took slightly longer but required a lot of interaction and is quite an ugly plastic product - there is more cleaning and it must then be put away. Meanwhile the coffee gator kettle and drip coffee pot both look fabulous & are quite small so can be left on show; it is easy to change the volume of coffee produced for when friends are round & there are no filters so the waste is minimal and plastic free. A simple rinse gets everything clean, sparkling and ready for tomorrow. I love my new coffee ritual and coffee gator is now pride of place in my new kitchen.Footnote: The AeroPress has been relocated to work (for coffee emergencies) & the moka pot has moved to my caravan. All three methods easily make a better coffee than Starbucks but the Coffee Gator set-up won on their combination of ease of use, flavour and good looks.

A brilliantly simple idea. Works easily and really well. Easy to keep clean. It's made my coffee machine redundant. Good thing.

Arrived promptly and product exactly as expected.Now use most morning to make my coffee., the right amount for 1 person and can go straight into the dishwasher once used.I do have to add a paper filter to the metal one provided, as I believe it would go through too fast with too many granules without. But with this in place, it delivers a really good cup of coffee.

I bought this for my wife for Xmas. We have had filter machines, French presses, espresso machines etc etc and it was time to try a pour over. This thing is so easy to use and is great quality . At first I felt like the glass was so thin and going to break but I believe it is some kind of special silicate glass, more skin to chemistry grade glass than tumbler or drinking glass glass.I had a small issue with the filter recently and I contacted the retailer who replied to me within a few hours and I will be receiving a complete replacement next week!It’s rare these days that you deal with a company who stands by their products and this is a testament to their customer service.The brand is Coffee Gator and the company is called Nestopia. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy one if their products again. Top marks!I have been using this product daily since Xmas and it has been washed every day and sometimes treated a little harder than it maybe should have been. Part of the filter came away where it was spot welded. I don’t like using paper filters.Overall 5 stars for the pour over set and 5 stars for the customer service 👌

Bought as a Christmas present for my son along with other Gator items. I bought the small size which does not have a handle but has a silicon collar instead. The shape is quite aesthetically pleasing, it's easy to clean, well designed and produced, and it was very well packaged. A real quality product. It's the first time he has tried low pressure/gravity filter coffee and he was impressed. The coffee comes out crystal clear from the amazing filter which just rinses clean. He has previously used a Moka pot (percolator) and was getting fed up with the messing around. The Gator is really quick and easy to use and to clean. It's a quality product and good value for money. I would definitely recommend it.

If you like REAL coffee, then this is a must...there are many pour over systems on the market, this is my first, so I can only comment on this product, but its great.My first go at using it I was blown away by the strength and taste you get. I also bought a hand grinder, so ground my beans...and the taste is just beautiful. At first I used some cheapo beans to practice on, which were still pretty good. And since then I've invested in some far superior beans and I'm so happy to be drinking the kind of coffee you have to pay a fortune for at coffee bars...The coffee maker is easy to use & maintain, I do suggest buying a swan necked kettle as I did though to make the process easier. Doing it with an ordinary kettle wouldn't be so easy, unless it pours evenly (which mine doesn't)I see this along with all the other gear I got as an investment, one that makes me very tasty coffee each dayGet one, you won't be disappointed...

I like the coffee this makes more than a French press, but…I bought this thinking that the basket was all one piece, durable steel. That it would last and be able to go through a dishwasher etc.But it’s not. It’s multiple layers sandwiched between two end caps on the top and bottom, the inner one is super fine and looks like plastic to me. I don’t think this basket will last very long unfortunately.

The media could not be loaded. Recently my Hario carafe broke out of the blue and I got this as a replacement. I never loved that the cone of the Hario carafe was plastic so this seemed like a great alternative. I liked the idea that I wouldn’t need to use a paper filter, and you definitely done have to use one if you don’t want to. When I got it I decide to try it without a filter first, the flavour was okay, pretty on par with what I was getting from my Hario carafe, but I did find some fine grounds at the bottom of my cup. I then tried using it with one of my leftover Hario cone filters and the flavour is much more robust, and the coffee is much stronger. I am very pleased with the results. It is also great that it has a handle that doesn’t get hot and I’m not having to deal with the collar that a lot of other similar carafes have. I strongly recommend this carafe with a paper filter if you are looking for a stronger cup of pour over coffee.

I love how compact this unit is, no big coffee maker on the counter. Three pours of water and you have your large coffee to go. Coffee tastes better with boiled water. Full coffee flavour compared to a counter unit. Easy to clean. A bit pricey but you'll always have the great stainless steel filter and it could be used without the flask if you ever broke it.
