Great product
I don't normally leave a review on stuff but this deserved the time . Fed of my slate patio looking white and looked for something for years tried a number of different oils and other colour inhancers etc to be disappointed. This is abit like a paint but after letting seal for 24hrs then washing it down and sweeping it with a stiff broom lightly product is brillant . No more tired slate white tiles . And as others mentioned about the black residue it does go after its cleaned . FANTASTIC . little bit pricey for 1ltr bottle at £39.99 but it's good. personally £25 would be a suitable price . Thankyou would probably order again .

Colour revival
Magic, limestone slates are exactly how we wanted them. Use a paint roller as it’s easier to apply. Two Coates required if existing slates are faded badly like mine.

Does what it says !!
Very messy and unforgiving if you don’t apply it carefully that said it does a great job, I blacked all my edging bricks around my patio and it looks brand new, I know it’s expensive but it does go a long way and seals the brick / stone perfectly

Not convinced...
This product was recommended to our builder who had just laid our black limestone patio by a local stone specialist. We knew that black limestone would fade, but what was delivered to us as new stone slabs (45m2) was nothing like the sample we'd got, and was already much lighter than we'd wanted. They were returned another lot delivered that were not much better. Ideally we wanted the black 'wet look' but could not find a sealer suitable for black limestone that did that. So to get it darker, our builder was told that this was the stuff to use. It is an impregnater, not a sealer so will still allow the stone to 'breathe' as it were. That also means it can be applied straight after laying, as with a sealer you should allow a few months for any efflorescence (mineral salt deposits) to escape. However even though our builder was very careful with applying it, it still did not dry that evenly, and left lighter patches. As others have said, if you walk over it barefoot, or with socks on, you pick up a black chalky residue that transfers into the house. It is almost like a 'paint' that penetrates into the stone. The result is certainly much darker than the original but not an even finish at all. If you are after a black, shiny, even and smooth finish to your patio I'd recommend you use porcelain paving slabs and not limestone!!

Disappointed
This is awful. It’s actually like a black paint. It does make it waterproof but it rubs off and makes a black residue on your hands/ feet. I’ve only painted a sample piece of black limestone to try, and it comes off even after 48 hours leaving it to dry. I’m very disappointed. I will return it and try a natural oil prospect that doesn’t “ paint” the stones.

Never again
The good part was that it was easy to apply, the bad part was it is a terrible product and would never purchase again. No matter how long you leave it, weeks/months, as soon as you walk on it the black stays on your shoes and you end up walking it into your house. I should have paid a little more and bought Aspects Back to Black which is a much better product.
