I love my scissors. They’re nice and sharp. They fit my hand very nicely and I love the way. They look like a Victorian expensive pair of scissors, but they’re not expensive at all.

I work with embroidery floss all the time. Large bulky scissors for something as delicate as embroidery floss never really works well. You need smaller, thinner, scissors. These are not only beautiful to look at, but they are also sharp and simple. You do not have to use the back of the blades but can cut floss at the tip of the blades.The price for a pair is extremely reasonable. Worth the buy.

Not only are these scissors beautiful but they work so well. I use them for all sorts of sewing projects. They are very sharp. They fit my fingers well and feel balanced when I hold them, not clunky, not too light. They are something I would use daily and pass down to a loved one, they are that nice.

I love details... and these scissors are beautiful in my stitching basket. Each time I need to clip a string they bring me joy. Some of the edges are a little rough, but overall for the cost - these are cute little scissors that add fun details to wherever I put them!

Probably every avid needleworker probably fantasizes about that perfect pair of scissors, and for the last 20 years or so, that has been my Premax embroidery scissors. (BTW, if they cost much less than $70 or don’t cut well, they are cheap Asian fakes.) My only complaint is that the small size can make them uncomfortable.But I crochet a lot, too, and that introduces two issues. For one thing, the Premax are so sharp that they will cut yarn they simply touch while you are just positioning them prior to cutting, leading to a struggle to mend the damage invisibly. Most scissors just chew up the yarn, but one would hope for something in between.These scissors work perfectly in that regard, and the finger holes are larger and more comfortable. Plus the one with the art nouveau lily design brings a heavy dose of “oooh” to bear. That one is available by itself in at least four finishes, if you would prefer it separately.I have not dragged out my threads to try, but I suspect they would work for those as well.

These little scissors are great! They handle nicely, are built sturdy and the details are awesome. The price was perfect for the set. I recommend these scissors if you need to snip threads or yarn. Even my daughters liked them.
