Shiny Leaf DHT Blocker Shampoo and Conditioner Set with Biotin, 2 x 16 oz

I waited a while before I could write this review. I wanted to make sure that it actually did what it was saying it was doing. I was very happy with the results. I now have little baby hairs were there was no hair before. Which Thrills me to no end. The smell is Pleasant enough I'm not offended by it. I tend to go through the conditioner a little faster than the shampoo. But they both work my hair feels nice I have naturally curly hair. So as an added bonus to not only making my hair thick again it is like crack for your curls. I haven't used a straightener since I started using this. I now get a nice uniform curl again. I see that it's out of stock at the moment I hope that's temporary if it's not you'll hear crying from wherever you are in the world cuz I will be a big baby about it. I hope it works for you as well as it works for me I'm sure results vary depending on your biology and how well you follow the directions on the bottle. I know some people mention the bottles being broken I didn't have that problem all right well and good and ready to go. it has it has a lot of natural oils in it but my hair is never greasy or Grody it always feels the lightest it has ever been.

I ordered the DTH BLOCKER shampoo and conditioner via Amazon, arrived fairly fast via FedEx! The first time using the shampoo, it sudded up very easily and the SMELL was nice![Sorta had a peppermint smell]. But once it was time to wash the shampoo out, my hair was really knotty. Anyways, I applied the DTH BLOCKER Conditioner(which also smelled yummy), and it softened my hair right up no problems. I let my hair air dry as I've been doing since losing alot of hair----and now trying to grow and thicken it back up. The next day when I styled my hair, it was soft, smelled good and was very full. Since using the Shampoo/Conditioner Ive noticed alot less hair fall. Rather or not it will ultamitely be the answer to my hair issues--the jury is still out since I've only been using it about 2 weeks! But for a 16oz pump bottle of DTH BLOCKER shampoo and conditioner for the price it is listed, thats a deal and a risk worth taking! I also derma stamp my hair x3 weekly and apply minoxidil daily.

I've been using this for about a month and have been very happy with it. Both the shampoo and conditioner are very sheer or light but effective and get the job done! Don't need much of either. I love how lightweight it feels on my hair and also hasn't demolished my temp hair coloring because its sulfate free. My hair has been shinier and softer lately than it has been in a while. I will tell you - I am 3 months post-op on bariatric surgery... this is the point where there is a great risk of major hair loss following the diet change. After using this set for a month, I am finding that less hair than ever before is coming out during showers, so I am very impressed when I was so worried about the complete opposite happening due to the surgery! I expect that once my body self-regulates a bit more this shampoo/conditioner might even be more effective which is a nice thought. Kind of a weird endorsement I know, but thought this was worth mentioning given the timing for me personally.

I really like the smell and how soft my hair feels after. It has good lather and leaves my hair with really good volume once I style it. I began taking it to reduce and prevent hair loss from taking GLP-1. I had been using Soapbox for months, but wasn't liking the lack of lather and hair texture once styling. While on Soapbox I began seeing some hair growth, but I decided to make a switch to this DHT Blocker shampoo. BUT I'm sad to say that after about 2-3 weeks I started to notice hair loss all over again and it seems to be worse than before. Has anyone else experienced hair LOSS after using this shampoo?

After 7 months, I am seeing amazing results. I've used this product since January 2026 . It just takes time and persistence. Breakage has lessened, density has increased. I see new growth where previously, there was no hair. I have changed the method by which I use the product. Now I saturate my hair in warm water, towel dry lightly, then massage the shampoo into the root area and leave it there for ten minutes. Next, I rinse well and apply conditioner, then shampoo it out. It's the only product of its kind that has produced results. It's worth the effort and well worth the wait.

Wow, it actually works! I only wash my hair every 3-5 days, but I’ve been using it for 2 months now, and people keep commenting about how shiny my hair looks! I bought this for the shedding (I’ve had a lot of hair loss this year) but the shedding has stopped, and you can see all my baby hairs growing back in! My hair feels thick and healthy… I’m surprised, but it really does work!

Their Amazon presence leans heavily into the DHT blocker component to attract men and women who are losing their hair. Most people who are losing their hair are losing it because they have androgenetic alopecia. If they have done ANY research to determine WHY, they know that the male androgen dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is responsible for their hair loss, and that's why people buy this product. However, when you get the product, the labels do NOT indicate that the shampoo and conditioner are DHT BLOCKERS. Instead, each bottle's label states that it is a DHT Shampoo and a DHT conditioner, prompting people to think that DHT is a GOOD thing. Do they think we are too stupid to realize the connection between DHT and hair loss? The all important word BLOCKER is missing after the word DHT. DHT is the hormone that causes hair loss in both men and women. When you look at the ingredients, they list all these eco-groovy herbals ingredients that have very little connection with preventing hair loss. There is no mention of hair loss, hair thinning or hair growth on the actual bottles you get from Amazon, despite their explicit statements in their Amazon advertising. It is deceptive advertising. I have purchased ProBliva shampoo from Amazon which states on the bottle that it is a DHT BLOCKER, and the DHT blockers are Zinc PCA (to regulate sebaceous glands and block DHT), Green Tea (which reduces cholesterol and blocks DHT), and Kapilarine (which stimulates hair regrowth and maintains its strength). I am NOT promoting ProBliva, because I'm not sure it's very effective, but at least it doesn't make my hair greasy and stringy 24 hours after shampooing, like this product. I can recommend PRP to those of you who are losing your hair. PRP is Platelet Rich Plasma. You have blood taken from an arm, that blood is put into a centrifuge to separate out the plasma, the plasma is injected directly into your scalp. That plasma of yours has human growth hormone in it, and stimulates your hair follicles to produce thicker hair strands. I'm only 3/4 of the way through the four treatments, but I can tell you that I have a ton of baby hair growing everywhere--top of my scalp ( I look like Dagwood Bumstead with all these cowlicks) , at my temples. It's ridiculously expensive though. And PAINFUL!! But the 13 or so injections only take about 2-3 minutes. The success rate is about 70%. I thought I would be in the 30%, but goodness, I am seeing all these baby hairs sprouting. Hope this helps my fellow hair loss suffers.
