Bought these battery terminals thinking that they would fit my leisure battery in my caravan but it seems to me that my caravan battery is rather large and these did not fit so we have to send them back but still a good product

I purchased these for my 12v battery which we solar charge and then use via an inverter. Having two dogs in the house i do not like using the alligator clips that normally come with these type of devices, therefore this product provided a safe solution to our problem.You get two sets of clips in the pack, both sets are colour coded, red for positive and blue for negative connections. There are two screws which need to be loosened to put in your wires and when tightened these hold the cables to my charge controller and inverter nice and securely.Once on the battery terminals you just push down the plastic cover and they lock into place. This provided me with piece of mind that battery terminals are fully covered and protected from my two dogs that like to get in every nook and cranny!I would definitely recommend this product to others.

I was rather nervous having read the reviews saying they didn't fit, but I really liked that they would cover up the terminals (I'm intending to use the superbatt leisure and marine battery for a trolling boat motor so it will be exposed beneath me). They were tight and took some effort putting on and taking off, and there is a knack to it, but they are just the job for what I want.

I bought 2 pairs and one pair fit well but the other needed reworking to be able to snap them on and off without needing a crowbar. They are heavy duty but not sized accurately. I guess the price reflects this and if you are handy working metal they are fine. Or buy several and cherry pick the best to make one good set?

I purchased the clamps a few weeks ago for a leisure battery used in a motorcycle transport trailer to run a 12 volt lighting system. The positive clamp is too small for to positive battery post. I double checked and tried it on a couple of standard batteries without luck. The pos clamp is the same size as the negative clamp which as standard is smaller. That was a waste of money. Not impressed 😕

These battery connectors are almost perfect! I have used this type of connection for many years without any real problem. They are easy to fit with the plastic cover working as the lever to close and open the terminal clamp. The cable is easy to fit too as it is trapped between two screws in a clamp, however smaller cable’s can prove a little difficult to securely fit in the clamp. The size of the cover is relatively small but on some batteries can prove a little restrictive- having said that I have always managed to fit them somehow! I do, however, like that the plastic cover effectively insulates the battery terminal reducing the chance of accidentally shorting out the battery. I have used mine on leisure batteries for modest loads so I cannot comment on suitability for high current applications such as starter motor loads.

This makes life easier for cam life. Easy access to leisure Batteries and something that should be standard. Good quality no issues so far after a few weeks and I’m sure will do the job as intended.

Be careful on first installation on a battery that they sit right down before closing. After that, oh, so easy and no tools needed. Solid brass, 500 amp rating - I had them up to 275 amps at 13 volts DC and they did not even get warm. Boats, tractor, mower - anything with a standard battery.
