CowboyStudio 3000 Support 12 Feet Wide Heavy Duty Backdrop Support System with Carrying Bag

This product is not as described. It is light weight and setting up and taking down the crossbar could be a pain. The weight on this including the bag is only 9.2 Lbs, while it is described as 20 Lbs. While this is still usable, it depends on one's preferences and requirements.The good thing about this though is that it is built pretty well and will stay long, while staying light and thus easy to carry.

This backdrop support system was exactly what I was looking for. I did a considerable amount of research into heavy duty backdrop support systems prior to purchasing this one. I needed a system that would support both muslin backdrops and vinyl banners while being both durable and easy to transport. Though I have only owned the CowboyStudio 3000 for a short period of time after testing I believe this is exactly what I was looking for. The system comes in a bag that has the supports and tripods nicely organized. When packed it is easy to carry and not heavy for such a heavy duty system. I had no trouble assembling this system myself with no assistance. When fully extended it seemed sturdy enough to fit my indoor needs with both muslin backdrops and a vinyl banner. I used large clamps to hold the muslin and 2 inch rings to hold the banner. I'm going to field test this in a few weeks and will modify the review if there is some sort of mechanical failure but I don't foresee that happening. This set up will likely last me quite some time and I do plan on both recommending this to others and buying more in the future to use at other locations.

The stand is below average material. Many of the twist knobs were broken leaving only one side of knob to turn. I realize this isn't a professional quality kit, but I did expect more than arriving with broken pieces.

This is an awesome stand. Very easy to put together. I'm only using it for hanging fabric. I'm not sure how it would do with a heavy roll of paper. I did buy this as an Amazon Open Box deal so I got it for an unbelievable price. I'm happy I found it. It's definitely 12 feet wide and the fabric I am hanging from it is 8 feet tall. I'm happy with it and would recommend it.

Came missing the connector for the top bars.So far my experience buying anything cowboy studio products is 50/50 chance it will work out of the box. I give up.I don't recommend anyone buy Cowboy Studio products. What you save in up front cost you waste in time, and replacements.

Wonderful! Much more sturdy than the last stand I bought, which ended up breaking. I'm using this for a heavy vinyl backdrop (15' wide, don't remember how long but 20+). It bows slightly, but again not as bad as he last one. Then tripod legs are strong, so is the crossbar.

The stand that was shipped to me was broken and missing poles. I am furious.

This is my second one actually, as my brother-in-law has my first one. I decided to get the heavy duty one this time and I'm certainly satisfied. Very good construction and very portable and convenient with the included carrying case.
