Condenser ring not same as in pic and, as a result, cannot use phase contrast kit!!!
So, I had to already return the first of these I bought as the head was damaged and wouldn’t stay in place. So, this is my second and this one has a condenser ring assembly with a closed ring. As such, that makes the maximum height of any condenser it can use no more than 9mm. However, this phase contrast condenser has a height of 13mm. When I look at the pics showing of the microscope it does not have the same stage assembly as mine, specifically the condenser ring assembly. The one shown in the pics has an open ring assembly, thus allowing the taller phase contrast condenser to slide into place. However, as before, my ring assembly has a closed ring and thus blocks the taller phase contrast condenser from being able to be placed. Getting REALLY mad. Seems like a Mickey Mouse operation, but, then again, I don’t want to insult The Mouse as at least Disneyland runs with precision and professionalism. Where was this built? A spare bathroom in an abandoned building tilting to the left, with spare parts and the lights out?

Trouble with immersion objective
I bought a Amscope microscope, and kept within box until 2 months later. So, with some use, this objective was not working anymore: final lens unglued, and worst, immersion oil was spread insight objective's body. My Hope is that you warrant a brand new objective, since ita was not related with misuse. Anyway, I really appreciate this microscope: robust precise and very qualified optics. I am sure my next microscope will be American Opticl again.
