I LOVE this perfume as just an everyday after shower perfume! It reminds me of being at the beach! It has such a great smell of fresh gardenias to it! It has a very fresh and clean smell to it. The bottle is a fair size so the value is good for the price. I use this pretty regularly and buy it often. Highly recommend this if you love the smell of gardenias!

I blind bought this a couple days ago and it just arrived. I like gardenia but it’s not like I’m a gardenia lover, so I wasn’t sure what to expect from this, but I am so glad I took a chance. I got a very light whiff of gardenia on that initial spritz and then I smell honeysuckle. It smells like open windows on a spring day and the light breeze gently carries the scent of springtime into your home. I’m not sure that this would be a safe blind… It is definitely not an overpowering gardenia scent. This is more like a gentle whisper of spring. A very light sweet soap sent. But for me after that initial spritz all I smell is tuberose. And unfortunately, for me that is one of my least favorite scents. I was really hoping for that creamy sultry Gardenia mixed with some yummy delicious coconut. But, on my skin and in my nose, All I get is tuberose. Bummer. Maybe someone in my family will like it and if not, it will be a lovely air freshener. In case anyone is wondering why I gave it five stars because it is a very lovely fragrance. It’s just not for me personally.

It's nice to find an old favorite. Still smells beautiful.

I wanted to buy this for so long. Don't know why I didn't get it sooner. The fragrance is very close to that of a real gardenia. The eau-de-cologne fragrance doesn't last very long though.

Smells nice but tge scent dies not stay last.

The smell is wonderful if you like gardenias but I did notice the fragrance does not last long on and you need to spray on more so the bottle don’t last very long.

I love the narcotic, buttery scent of white florals—just yum. But they don’t come cheap. And the cheap don’t smell good. This is the exception. I’ve loved Jovan’s Island Gardenia since high school, which makes it a pretty dang enduring love). For my money, it’s the purest, most nuanced gardenia you can find for under 20 bucks. It’s just delicious and it lasts for hours. If you love your gardenia straight up, you really can never go wrong with Jovan.

Received my perfume today and am very happy with the fragrance. This is a light summery fragrance not overbearing. Enjoyable for the summer months but could be worn all year round. Great price point for this product. Lasts for hours after application. Recommend to anyone looking to try said product.
