Nice headset.
David clark headsets are a staple within the aviation community. I would recommend these for starter headset over any other "cheaper" headset. The customer service is really nice and the product is great for the value.

VERY CONFORTABLE AND GOOD SOUND QUALITY
The media could not be loaded. The headset is of very good quality, it doesn't hurt my ears, it doesn't squeeze my head and it has a very good volume. You can adjust the volume on the headset itself.

Great Headset
Headset is very comfortable and a great option for student pilot or others that don't want to spend $1,000+ on a headset. Works well when using with hats that have a button on top. The head cushion is designed in two parts that allows the hat head button to fit nicely between the two sections. The ear pads are very comfortable and do a great jobs of eliminating ambient noise. Highly recommended.

Love it!
Fits well, need to screw/tighten the bolts to adjust the head size, nice quality, works well. Only wish there was a carrying case that fit it, the wire always pokes against the side of the bags I've tried.

Shipping was not two day like other "Prime" orders I've made in the past.
I recently purchased these David Clarks for my private pilot license. I have to admit this is a huge upgrade from the headsets at my flight school I was renting for my first couple flights. The fit is a little snug, I have not flown a cross country yet but after my hour and a half lessons they are still comfortable (I think they should break into my head shape after a while). The boom holds its shape, and I am relieved I do not have to shout into the headset to transmit on the interphone anymore. The audio is nice and crisp, and incoming transmissions are more noticeable. With the rental headsets comm would go in and out, with these I have no experienced any such issues. In the Air Force we use the military version of the David Clarks and I have been pretty rough with them, and they still work perfectly. I have no doubt that these will be just as reliable. There is no aux input, but I'm more concerned with having a headset that will not fail on my when I start soloing. All in all i am happy with this purchase. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was that they did not come in with 2 day shipping even though they were a 'Prime" purchase.

In the price range, this is the general aviation headset to get.
This was the first aviation headset that I got when working on my private pilot's license and I'm sure that this headset will last me for the next decade of my aviation adventures.First off, these things scream build quality. Seriously. They're built even more solidly than the Cessna 172 you're flying. I have no doubt that they will outlast the warranty.Other than durability? Sound quality and comfort matter. The sound quality is about as good as I could imagine for headset without active noise canceling; the large ear cups block out a large amount of noise and I have had no problems hearing anything with these. And comfort is good. After a long cross country, the weight of these can start to bug you, but I have no problem wearing these for three hours. In the price range, I'm convinced that there is no better headset. If you want to spend $1000, go for the Bose noise canceling headphones. If you want to spend $175, do yourself a favor and just spend the extra for these. You'll be happy you did.

Works great
Love them, super comfortable even with glasses or sunglasses, very noise canceling, all in all great product the only thing is the pads will come out if you’re aggressive with them but its not that difficult to pop them back in. I’ve had them for over 3 months and they are in super shape.
