Silk'n Pro Intense Pulsed Light Hair Removal Device

I researched as much as I could before settling on this product because of the good reviews. My first machine packed up after 9 months use, it just stopped working. The replacement machine's 'strength' of pulse button did not work from the start. Amazon has been excellent in replacing. As far as it's capacity for hair removal, after using it for 9 months, I noticed absolutely NO difference. A very disappointing waste of money for an expensive product.

I took ages deciding which one to buy.Did alot of research.Could nt decide between Philips,Tria,Boots and this silk n pro.Decided to go for this! I have olive skin but pale when i don't have a tan with thick dark hair. I used to have to shave every other day.Hated being on holiday with my red bumps I would get near bikini line whether I waxed or shaved. I have been using this for 6 weeks,every other week on legs,bikini & upper lip.I have smooth almost hair free legs.I do abit of acting and am booked for a job next week to have legs waxed for real for some show I have been asked to grow them but I hardly have any! Now that I need them! This product definitely works but be patient takes a while. Will update in afew weeks! wish I had this in my teens!

Unfortunately unlike all the other reviews I have read before buying this product, mine did not do anything. I used it correctly but nothing changed. In fact it did not remove any hairs permanently. However, the postage and packaging was perfect and fast.

I received this today so can't really write a proper review for it, but I think mine is faulty. When I hold the wand bit upside down, the internal fan slows right down and becomes intermittent. When I face it up again the fan spins at full speed. Also, there is a slight electronic buzzing coming from the docking station. Anyone else experience the same?

I bought this machine more than half a year ago, it really does work and I am happy with that but now almost everytime I use it I need a new cartridge and they got more expensive with time so I find myself wishing I had bought a more expensive machine but with no need of changing cartridges.

I have been doing IPL at clinics for a few years on my bikini line. I have had my Silk'n Pro for 2 weeks now and have found it very easy to use. Point and click. great. It is painless, just a tingle of heat as if fires, When I'm able to push the heat setting up (it forces low setting for the first 100 fires) I'm sure it might be a little more tingly. Definately hair reduction after the first few sessions, and the best thing is having the time and privacy to treat as much or as little as you want in each session.... wanna do; lip, under arm, bikini, legs in one go? Go for it! or just want to top up under arm? you don't have to think... oh that £60 minimum for a session at the salon, I better have more than that. I have used it 3 times and I think that paying salon prices to cover the same amount of area it has now paid for it's self. Good luck - you'll be paying even less than I did (they just reduced the price) so it's definately vaule for money.

I haven't used this yet as, although I read all I could on the websites, it didn't say anything about not being able to use it if you are on steroid medication. Depending on the dose you had taken you need to wait between 1-3 months before it is safe to use the unit.......I'm hoping it still works when I get it out of he box!

I have strong hair and really thin skin, so all other forms of hair removal were painful, especially shaving. silk'n pro has been amazing. I've had great results, although it does take time. Although after a year you will see fantastic results. This has improved my life so much. It has reduced the hair considerably even after only 4 months. It has really changer my life.
