CELOX Granular Hemostat Blood-Clotting Crystals, 8 Count

Twice this year our heeler (dog) pulled a claw and bled like crazy, half an envelope of CELOX applied to the affected area completely stopped the bleeding. Fortunately I haven't cut myself enough to need this for myself (yet.)

Good miniature packs to keep around for small jobs like a split eyebrow, I guess it would work for a gaping torso wound or artery, but you would need a couple, might as well get the big packages for those. This is the stuff they use to keep people from dying in the middle east from gun-shots. It works.

This stuff works great.I put an inch long cut nearly to the bone on the pad of my thumb, couldn't stop the bleeding with pressure for about 5 minutes. A little sprinkle of this (less than half a packet) and the bleeding stopped in seconds. Wrapped it with athletic tape and got back to work. At the end of the day I rinsed it off with water, cleaned the cut with alcohol, then kept it taped for a few days, and it healed up just fine.

I recently cut my finger tip, and I bled like a stuck pig. After using this, the bleeding stopped and a trip to the emergency room was avoided. GOOD STUFF!!

Great product, very reasonable price! Everyone should add this to their first Aid kit for quick clotting and control of deep, bleeding wounds!

Product looks to be as described. Is in my dirt bike kit.

Unused and hopefully remains unused.
