Fairly Decent
These were fairly decent. Most are basic nougat. Except one was a weird taste. But there was one I wished they had more of, I included a pic. The shipping was fast. Not worth $30. Definitely not like American candies. Not as sweet in my opinion either. Which I like. But I really want more of this one. Lol

Variety and quantity.
I bought this in preparation for "things" (it's November 1st 2020!) The idea was to have something absolutely new as a morale booster. When I saw it stuffed into my mailbox, marked "Fragile", I thought it was busted into pieces. When I opened it it, it IS pieces...and LOTS of them. Once you open the plastic shipping envelope it's only in a paper bag. So if it's a gift, you're going to want to find a small box. However, it would be a nice gift as opening each one is a complete surprise. I told myself I was going to only have one a day, but they're over half gone in three days. Not all chocolate, ran into a lemon one and ????? Also there are nuts in a few. I order stuff like this every winter, and this gets a 100 on the novelty factor and at least a 90 on value.

Chocolate pieces - NOT gourmet candy
I was curious about these but they just did not live up to the expectations or some of the reviews. They were just meh. I would not call these gourmet candy pieces. They are just flavored chocolate pieces. They are mostly dark and semi sweet chocolate covered nougat, fudge, caramel, hazelnut, wafer, marshmallow like but drier substance, and one dried fruit (the big one) pieces. One to two bites each. They are not terrible but not great either. There was not one piece in there that I would try again or want to eat more of. Some I could only take a small bite of and could not finish. It’s only a 1 lb bag so you do not get a lot for your money that’s for sure. With almost $2 a piece I would not recommend or buy again. There were a couple of pieces broken, and the chocolate governed coconut flavored one was completely smooshed and tasted dry and old, but that’s not the reason for the low rating. Overall, just not good and definitely not gourmet. However, shipping was super fast. A bit confused about the expiration date of 6/16/23 yet shows packaged on 10/16/23? Does that mean they were all expired when they were packed? Possible… At any rate, unless you are from Russia or the Ukraine and really really crave these, save your money and buy when they are at least 50% off. There are much better and cheaper chocolates in Canada and the US than these.

Not worth almost $30
False advertisement thought i was getting the white branded bag that was advertised in the picture but it just came in a clear bag! This was a gift now i have to buy a box to put it in and is crazy because the chocolates expensive already without having to buy a box.

Positively unique
This selection of candy is simply so intriguing because if the fascinating graphics on each and every piece. I was so intrigued by the vintage images depicted on each piece......... the quality of the chocolate itself is really not very good, though this assortment does represent some diversity in shape, consistency, and flavor. For me, it is such a visual treat to have a pretty vintage silver bowl of these unusual sweets on a side table with an old lace cloth and a petite vase of fresh flowers..........I rather think this unique and colorful candy selection belongs in a richly appointed gypsy caravan!
