1/10 2.4Ghz Exceed RC Electric SunFire RTR Off Road Buggy Fire Red

My wife, who never played with a hobby grade RC car was very happy with how easy to operate this car was to use. It is pretty quick, and took to driving in medium grass pretty well. The battery life was decent for using NiMH batteries of the 1800 mah size, and seemed pretty pepper for having a brushed motor. The yellow and red color is also perfect for her. It's a great RC car, especially at the price point.

First off it's a great value for starting out or general racing fun.Not a basher, but will hold up well.Shock towers can bend in ruff endo tumbles, continuous use with no cool down between packs led to motor fan melting. But a brushed motor is cheep to replace.If you replace the motor or service the gears (remove sand jam) remember two of those screws are machine thred for the motor mount.Bent a bonbons, just straightened it out and back going.Great platform doing shock tower and aluminum wing support upgrade soon.Overall it's a fun car , easy to work on and plenty of hop-up parts if you search the pt#I'm using 5000mah 100c 2s hard pack.Axial 27turn replacement motor.BTW gears are 48p.I'm getting long runtime.Stock tires are hard compound no foam.Stock radio and servo , good stering response/speed.If you think this is a crappy car go start with a tamya grasshopper in the 80's. Back then this would have ben a dream.Exceed you did good.

Great value for the money build quality is comparable to other more mainstream brands but did find that the aluminum strut braces are a little weak but do not break just tend to bend I did find hop-up parts are available

This is hobby grade rc and lipo 2c ready. Suggest a 5200 hundred lipo 2c to replace the battery that comes 1with it.Plenty of upgrades to maintain this buggy.

Bought this car along with 2x Redcat Racing HX-3800MH-B Version 4.0 3800 Ni-MH Battery-7.2V with Banana Connector for a 10 year old for Christmas. To say that they have enjoyed the heck out of this thing is a major understatement. This car is really very fast stock probably hitting mid 20-s MPH. For kids that are used to seeing 'Walmart style' rc cars this thing is on another level. It was so good even the neighbor kids had to come out and see it on the first run. I would definitely recommend it if you want to impress your kids.

this is a pretty car and fast car...seems to be very well built...really not a toy...I bought this for my 8 yr old grandkid and it is too much for her to control...the adults in the family love it...crashed several times with no damage...controller very responsive...takes a second to go in reverse but that is probably for a reason to protect the car drivetrain
