The plastic is apparently a bit cheap. One had a bunch of shallow scratches in it when it arrived. I figured I'd give it a try though. I am parking outside and temps have been pretty high lately. Cracking my windows does help to reduce the heat in the car some, but it still gets pretty warm in there on 100+ degree days.The deflectors also don't do much for the appearance of the car. They have a chrome insert that basically matches the chrome at the bottom of the window on the vehicle, however these deflectors only go part of the length of the window, so look a little odd over the full length ones at the bottom. The smoky color of the deflector plastic looks a little cheap, especially over glossy dark tinted windows. They make a little noise, but it isn't too bad.I understand now why people said some complain about cleaning the car windows after you install them.I'm not sure if the downsides are worth the heat reduction, but I guess I'll keep them on for the rest of the summer. Not much point once things cool down though...

Product came as blue on top. They’re not smoke out visors as advertised. Tacky!

These are great, we live in Washington state so these are needed and we also have a puppy that loves to have the window opened. They were easy to install and seems durable
