Disclaimer: I'm not using this bag for a tripod (never owned one in my life).I have a side project with very specific requirements for storage. This bag is the only perfectly sized bag I've found for this purpose, perfect dimensions and shape for my use case (got the 35").Zippers are ok, probably better ones out there but for my use case they zipper just fine.The strap is ok. The handle is great, solid design.

Time will tell me just how good this 27 inch long bag is. It came used as advertised, but the only evidence of that is the zip lock bag of good AA batteries I found in the bag's accesories pocket. That is worth a buck or two in my opinion. This bag is made from a heavier material than my old Tamrac tripod bag which has protected my 1985 Velbron tripod and my Slik monopod for 30 years or more. The Vidpro bag is well padded, the Tamrac is not. The Tamrac has a removable adjustable strap, the Vidpro does not, but having metal rings and hooks is not necessary. the Vidpro bag is as long as advertised and a simple use of a yard stick or measuring tape kept me from making a mistake and ordering a bag that is too short.

I bought this for an umbrella I purchased that came with a tripod. Its a great bag for that. Well-constructed and sturdy. Easy to carry and good quality.
