DOES NOT WORK.
I ordered this HDMI converter and it NEVER WORKED. I tested it out with various connections and it was the converter that was not allowing the tv to play. All I would get was the gray scratchy screen.

No quality control, i guess
Easy to use, and great sound - but no picture. Litterally no usable picture, so i returned it. It was skipping, much like if you hadnt tuened a dial tv to the correct channel - and it was in black and white not color.I really wish this had worked.

Unit gets hot
Frustrated it seems like a great idea and I plugged in my fire stick to use with my older projector to have a movie night for the neighborhood kids tonight well it worked for about 10 min then stared acting fuzzy and I felt the converter and it felt super hot and basically the female end went inside of the hard plastic maybe melted not sure but is not making a solid connection so it’s now useless

Image quality not the best
We had a tv that the HDMI went out, so used this instead! Worked, but picture quality isn’t great. Not sure how much is the older tv or the chord though.

DO NOT BUY
This product got so warm that it melted the glue on the inside of it and ruined my amazon fire stick! Cheap product and I already let amazon know!!! Do not buy and a waste of money!
