Best Powder I’ve Ever Used
I am 55 and have used a LOT of different brands over the years. I kept seeing reviews and recommendations for this powder and decided to give it a try. At my age, it’s very challenging to find a powder that doesn’t settle into fine lines or large pores. The powder is very fine and feels very light on my face. Keeps my face looking smooth and healthy all day.

Beautiful Tint/Shine..for my age of skin show's the line's more though
It's Beautiful & Leaves a Sparkling Glow! But for my skin type(VERY DRY) & Mature Skin (40's) doesn't work so well. It does show imperfections, lines, tends highlight lines more. I think it's so beautiful of a soft product, sadly for my skin/age not working! But for youthful lucky ones YES!! I get fillers, botox, the works for years, please let me again stress, it's not worth the hype, it doesn't last, its nonstop appointments to get the look wanting, and the lines always come back, cost is pricey! Just love you! Again this is beautiful glowing when tested on arm. On my face/neck just a no! But I suggest for other's! Enjoy your natural beauty, have fun with products that are safe, and stay away from fillers/botox hype! Love your age/flaws..But this is a great deal for a nice powder shine!

Shiny Finishing Powder, Minimal Oil Control
It's a lightweight finishing powder. But that's about it. At this price point, I shouldn't be complaining but honestly it wasn't what I was looking for. I was looking for oil control for sunscreen, but I don't wear makeup. This product definitely was meant to be used with makeup. It has sparkles so you look a little like Edward up close. Does minimal work on sunscreen shine. It doesn't feel like you put anything on but it also doesn't last too long because I was shiny again a few hours later. Can't get mad because it was just $6 but was expecting more oil control.TLDR: Lightweight powder meant to be used with makeup. Minimal oil control on skin and sunscreen.

Value
Great value for money spent. Has a bit of a sheen to it and does the job of making my face look less oily than it really is and more polished. I like the e.l.f. Brand and will likely repurchase.

A must for oily skin
I am obsessed with this powder. I have oily skin that is so oily that after washing my face, the oil will start feeling uncomfortable after one to two hours. I also live in a hot environment so it's really hard to keep this under control. I actually got this hoping it would blur my large pores, which it definitely does work well to minimise their appearance, but the oil control has made this product a can't live without product. I can now go for 12 hours without feeling overwhelmed by oil. Yes, I still get oily, but not to the point that I'm desperate to wash it off. Also just reapplying the powder takes you back to your starting point. I can also blot and that works great too. I am so happy because I have been wanting to wear sunscreen daily on my face, but usually it's so uncomfortable after two hours, with this powder I'm good for 12 hours. I literally can't believe it.. I feel like I have normal type skin when wearing this. Also I love the subtle shimmer in this powder, it gives a lovely glow and it looks super nice over foundation. Once this runs out I'm going to order like 5 more since it's so affordable.

Not bad for the price; depends on what you what your result to be
I considered all of the reviews before purchasing this powder because the powder I was using from BareMinerals was finished and I was looking for something else without paying $25. This powder is like no other powder I have ever used, and I do traditionally use a translucent powder for a finishing powder because I don't want to add color to my foundation because that look is just too plastic for me. This powder is definitely "translucent", but not as I expected, hence the 3 stars.I agree with others who have said you definitely need a fluffy brush - I would say it is an absolute must (I have a great one made by "Flower", which I think is a line by Drew Barrymore, actually). I can see if you try to use the little powder puff that comes with the e.l.f. powder, you will end up with a white face because you don't need much of this powder at all. I was also VERY glad I save my container from my previous powder given this powder is one of the finest powders I have ever seen, and tilting it to the side can release a tremendous amount of product and cause a ton of it to go into the air or all over your side table or sink. Oddly enough, I feel like this powder makes my face a little oily and does nothing to absorb any oil, but perhaps that isn't its job - after all, it is extremely fine. However, I can't say I have ever seen this with other finishing powders that aren't meant to absorb oil either. Again, I guess that's just my skin and I don't recall reading this from other reviewers. Sigh.At first I was frustrated with this powder and wasn't even sure what it's purpose was supposed to be, so I purchased Almay Smart Shade Finishing Powder, albeit for a different purpose (to attempt to make my self-tanner less sticky a half hour after application!). I tried the Almay on my face and it was beautiful, so I think I will be purchasing Almay the next time, even though I haven't checked to see if they have a translucent one. (I paid $14 in Walmart for the Almay, and it's $8-$10 here.) I also feel like the e.l.f powder settles into the fine lines under my eyes, and nobody likes that! (I didn't see that the Almay did this and actually had some skin perfecting ability (shocking!), and this was the first time I have ever bought an Almay finishing powder.)I mention all of this because the great Amazon family always provides me with so much information that if something didn't work out like anticipated, many reviewers provide ideas and products that did and why. I have learned a lot this way - just by reading reviews. Overall, I suppose this powder does provide a little bit of illumination to the face, but there are other products that are truly meant for that, like the e.l.f. baked pearls, which I also read about on Amazon, saw it in Target and fell in love with the product. I suppose for the price, perhaps the product isn't that bad, but maybe it all depends on what you are looking for, and what you want your end result to look like. I hope this review helps someone!

Good product
It's great for people like me who have dry skin, it doesn't leave my face overly dry and has a brightening effect.
