clear image, short eye relief, tight slide thsn rotate to side
The best part of this magnifier is the magnification, good glass, clear focal crisp image.But the positives basically ends there and the problems start; pirate eye, catchy slide and then rotate and then lock to side, razor sharp edges, and huge quick release that easilly bumps off and releases.The eye relief is only about an inch away from the eye piece which is hard rubber and will do nothing but bang against your eye each time you fire.I woukd not suggest anything more than a 22lr, possibly .45, but a 223 will hurt you each shot.The slide then get stuck, then bsngm then nudge, then rotate to side is not smooth and not ideal for any fast pace situation, especially match shooting.The only thing that makes up for this is the up to 7x magnification modt flip to sides to go up to.

Excellent value, high quality.
In the last few years Sightmark quality has grown. This 7x magnifier works great. It also includes the mounting ring which flips to the side. It feels very solid, no cheap flimsy feel. Image is clear and no distortion through lense.

For the money, this is one of the best magnifiers I have found. Reasonably priced, and well constructed.

Not a good buy
I do realize that it’s very inexpensive, but it doesn’t have to be cheap. It was just cheap.
