Ray-Ban RB3025 Classic Evolve Photochromic Aviator Sunglasses

These are the 'oversized' ray ban aviators, designed for guys like myself with a larger head/face. I think the fit was just right, and they look great based on many compliments I've received on them so far. I would highly reccomend you check these out at a store before you buy them on online, mostly to ensure that the fit is right for you. Ray Ban makes these aviators (3026) which are oversized, and have a slightly softer angle to the bottom of the lens. In contrast the typical aviator you are most used to and see on TV/movies is the 3025, which has a slightly stronger angle, but is also smaller edge to edge (typically 58mm wide opposed to the 62mm on the 3026). In terms of the shape of the lens, it's so subtle that you really can't notice much of the difference, other than it's just designed to 'fit' better (they softened the drop of the lens as otherwise it would be just too large for the larger wider of the 62mm 3026). Regardless they are very similar, but the 4mm difference in width, while appearing inconsequential, is actually a large difference and therefore you should evaulate it for yourself.Overall a great quality product, the G15 lenses are excellent and really do improve my vision - I can see very clearly with these on, without any eye strain in bright outdoor light (crisp/clean optics). I wear contacts every day and these help keep my eyes relaxed while outdoors, therefore reducing the muscle fatigue my eyes are subject to over the course of the day. I definitely reccomend these if you have sensitive eyesight and/or use contact lenses and are looking for great protection from glare/brightness. the biggest thing is that they reduce the brightness while at the same time enhancing the clarity of my vision, which is great. Also note these lenses are glass and not plastic - for what it's worth, in case it wasn't obvious to you at first.Only complaint would be that they only come in two styles, with the gold plated rim or the black - This is fine but I wish they would offer the gunmetal in this frame size, which would have been my preference. You could find the gunmetal in the 3025 oversized, but only with a plastic lens (not the G-15 lens) - so I went with function over style, which is fine. (I did go with the black on black, which is a bit more subtle than the gold rimmed).

I always wanted a pair of Aviator style sunglasses but found every single commercially available model to be comically large for my face. No matter the design or even supposed smaller lens size all of them were too big. Then, enter this model by Ray Ban and finally I found one that works.Quality is what you would expect for the $100+ sunglasses market, above average and consistent with the Ray Ban brand. Came with a soft sided case and cleaning cloth. Watch for it to go on sale as you should be able to grab them 20-30% below retail.Also, do NOT try to get the kids version as a substitute. It won't work. The bridge is slightly smaller and it won't fit most adult faces. The measurements are only a few mm in difference but those really matter. You can give it a try, but make sure you will be able to return them without an issue before ordering.

The Ray Ban sunglasses RB3206 Aviator Large Metal II L2821 Black/G-15XLT sunglasses that I ordered came on time, and well packaged, and in excellent new condition. They were from "Vision123" (That was the return address on the outside of the box), serviced by Amazon. They are the exact same classic Ray Bans that I have used for the past 15 years. Most sunglasses are too tight on my head, but these fit perfect. Don't worry about that post by Yuri where he says they sent him a pair that was too small. I expected that they would, but they didn't. They sent me the right size, so don't worry about that.The Ray Ban sunglasses RB3206 Aviator Large Metal II L2821 Black/G-15XL have not changed a bit, as far as i can tell, compared the the pair (of the exact same model) I have owned and used heavily for the past 15 years. I knew these are authentic Ray Ban, exactly what I was used to, when I took them out of the box put them on my face. I really like theses sunglasses, as my eyes are sensitive to light, and these are about the darkest sunglasses I can find anywhere. They are not mirrored, but I don't think anybody can see your eyes through them, even in bright sunlight. I do believe that these are the darkest lenses that Ray Ban makes.These sunglasses are durable and of very high quality construction, I would probably have had my old pair (of the exact same model) for another 15 years if I hadn't accidentally left them in a taxicab.

The reason I chose these aviators was due to the "small" size. What I find is the arms are shorter than normal so you can't really sit them on top of your head. But they fit my longish oval face. I think they'll fit most women just fine. They are close fitting and when I smile, my cheeks touch the bottom of the frames. Sadly, these still slip down my nose though that's probably because I have a flat nose bridge. I think I'll try bending the ear piece back further to see if that prevents nose slippage.These came through one of Amazon's third party sellers, and I was worried at first when the stock photos all came from the same Chinese website. But if the pair I received is fake, it's the best d*mn fake I've ever seen. Frames are very sturdy and strong. The lens had no scratches and fit securely in the frames. It has all the markings (not just painted or glued on) on the lens and arms that "experts" claim signify genuine Ray Bans. I'm so impressed by the quality that I'll keep these whether or not they are real RBs or "Roy Bens" (ha ha).Lastly, if you're worried about fashion, I wore these on vacation in Italy and saw almost all the young women wearing the same pair. And at the airport a Japanese woman ran over to ask me at which Duty Free store I'd bought them.

You can't go wrong with a classic.. I'm worried I will lose or sit on them.. lolProduct is excellent
