Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara for Women, Black Brown, 0.4 Ounce

When I first moved to the UK I was using Maybelline mascara. When I ran out I had to change since the masacara I was using was not available in the UK. After a trying many different ones I was frustrated. I asked my friend who is a cosmotoglist if she could direct me to a good brand that was still affordable. She told me she loved and uses MaxFactor. As soon as I tried False Lash, I fell in love. And what I loved most was I knew (or so I thought) I could get it in America too when I was home on visits. I was ecstatic. I have since moved back to the US and found that MaxFactor is no longer sold in stores here. I was frustrated, so I tried to go back to my old mascara...I hated it. So, I came to Amazon to buy it online. I'm excited to try it in waterproof since onions and I don't get a long and I hate having mascara run when I'm cutting them. I love the way this makes my eyelashes look, Long, thick, and amazing. It lasts all day. I have rare fights with clumping and its normally my fault. The only other mascara I use is Max Factor's MasterpieceMAX, If I have a formal event I often combine the two (False Lash first, then I take it up a notch with Masterpiece to get even more length) I no longer have to fuss with false lashes for those events. Lasts all night, and I have lashes giraffes would be jealous of. Update since trying the waterproof: I can cut onions without my mascara running or cry in films like the sap that I am without it getting everywhere. I got caught in heavy rain the other night without an umbrella, it stayed! Didn't even need to reapply. That being said, It is harder to get off. But thats the only down side.

The actual mascara is really good for the price you pay. However, I had purchased this mascara as I was told it was great for curling and tubing. I have very flat straight eyelashes and although they are very long they're almost never visible. This mascara was very liquidy but definitely made my lashes visible. I do think there are probably better mascaras out there such as the cover girl lash blast mascara. The above pictures are after three coats + curling with lash curler.

Color is darker than expected, but very nice. Easy to apply with the fine line brush. Well made and should last a long time.

I love Max Factor, but this isn't my favorite mascara of theirs. As with most new mascaras, there can be too much mascara on the brush. Now, I have been using it for awhile, but I still feel as if the brush is coming away with too much mascara, which makes it difficult to obtain defined lashes, unless you want defined bunches. I've been making a point to get rid of excess before applying it, which works well. This stuff has an incredible lasting power. I have washed my face with soap and water and it still stays on. It definitely requires make-up remover and even that can take some effort to remove most of the mascara. The only problem I have with the staying power is that sometimes in the morning and/or after I wash my face, I have a residue of mascara "bits" around my eyes that I need to wipe off. Overall, this wouldn't be a problem, but I wear contacts. Getting this stuff in my eyes is incredibly irritating if I don't manage to catch all the bits that snuck into my eyes or tears ducts before I put my contacts in. It does give a nice look to the lashes if you apply the right amount, so I do like it for that, but I probably would not use this particular mascara as a staple.

It makes eye lashes look amazing

I have been a Max Factor fan for decades, but this product is not the way it used to be. My eye lashes looked lumpy and looked awful! I finally surrendered using it but before throwing it away, I washed it and checked the brush and only to find out that it was almost bald! Most of the bristles are missing!!! Don’t we have the right to have a good product as a customer!!!C’mon!!!

I really like this mascara, it is easy to apply and stays on! Just what I wanted. I had used another brand for many years but found it to not be the same formula. If I had known about this brand, I would have swithed a long time ago! I would recommend this product. Great product, fast delivery.

Excelente máscara de pestañas, siempre he usado la CoverGirl porque para mí era la mejor del mundo, pero ésta es realmente igual! Deja las pestañas muy bien, sin grumos, preciosas. Sin lugar a dudas sera mi mascara de ahora en más
