Should drink with lots of water
I was prescribed this in the hospital during and after two hip surgeries. I continued to take it for a few months until I realized my activity level had increased and I no longer needed it. I also recently recommended to a friend who had surgery and was having constipaton problems. It worked for them too. I do realize it makes a positive difference when you drink a lot of water when taking it.
