Derma-3 Softgels For Cats and Small Breeds, 250 Capsules

They are big capsules so I tried putting the liquid in them on my dog's food but then she didn't like her food like that. Now I just give the pill and my dog doesn't mind. It is hard to know if they help, but the vet approves and recommended this brand and one other. My dog is very ill and these might be helping. Her coat looks well.

My pugs stomach couldn't tolerate these gel tablets. Good product, just my pug was sensitive to them and started throwing up. I have tried the ones at the health food store, worked well but have a hard time finding fish oil in 200-250mg gel caps. Wish these would have worked.

We bought this fish oil supplement, based on a veterinarian's suggestion, in an attempt to relieve itching and scratching of our small dog. We purchased this particular brand based on it's relatively high EPA and DHA content and based on price. My wife and I can not agree as to whether or not these pills are helping the dog's allergies. But the dog eats one softgels out of her food bowl every day...after mouthing and chewing it and dropping it on the floor several times. We think that the texture of the softgel is what makes her mouth & chew it. But when the softgel ruptures, releasing the fish oil, it is at that point that she seems to actually eat the softgel entirely and lick up any fish oil which may have dropped or sprayed onto the floor...and carpet etc.I would buy this brand again and recommend it to others. But purchase based on EPA/DHA content of the oil (you want "high" levels and then consider the price per pill.

I have 2 Wiener dogs and we live in a Rural area, "the Country" for you City Folk. Since our girls started using Derma-3, they have been loving life. I think Derma-3 has improved our quality of life, the girls feel better and I am not stress-out over their well being. Derma-3 is an exceptional product and I would recommend it for all dogs in any circumstance.

I wish that this product actually put the fish used in the product on the label, it just says fish. I used this product for about 8 months. It was fine.

Angel cat's skin seems much less dry. The most wonderful aspect is that she'll accept it when I puncture the capsule and squeeze it on her dry food. Now she even eats the capsule. I started with a 30-day supply, this order was for 250 so you know I really am pleased with the product. I puncture the capsule because some reviewers said the spray got gunked up and I didn't want to deal with that. The capsules are fine and I don't mind a little fish oil on my fingers.

This capsule was recommended by our vet for our Shih Tzu. It helps to keep our dog's skin moist and his coat very shiny and soft. Our initial purchase was through our vet.
