Works well for my husky 5 year old boy but...
Works well and keeps my son afloat but leaves burn marks on arms and belly from rubbing. It's not that it's snug because he still has room since it's adjustable. Not sure if it's the material but this didn't happen with his puddle jumper.

stay a float
These puddle jumpers are the best for young ones in the pool. We make ours wear them whenever they are near the pool. Keeps the head a float no matter how they may fall in.

Puts kid on back - not upright
Very disappointed in this product. We have a puddle jumper for my other son, and that works much better than this. Rather than putting the child upright like the puddle jumper does, this makes the kid float more on his back. I would not recommend this product.

Poor quality
Very disappointed in this item. We took it to the beach and after 2 uses in the pool (not even the ocean) the arm ripped at seam

Works great for my 2 year old
Works great for my son 2 year old who is 23lbs! He loves wearing it in the pool and is confident swimming with it on.
