Feels more stable and easier to carry.
Lighter weight than the taller telescoping ladder I bought last year that pinched my fingers a number of times. Works great what I purchased this ladder for. The hooks work great for the rod below the loft and the extended feet makes this feel safe compared to my other TLadder.

Great portable ladder
I take this with me to landscape jobs and it has been a great addition to the job site. The hooks at the top lock in to the bar on my truck or the top of my trailer which makes it easy to climb in and out when loading or unloading materials. Also, it is nice to have an extension ladder to help get into the canopy of a tree. I weigh 175 pounds and I feel fully safe using this ladder even when fully extendedThere is some minor assembly required before using the product. The support bar needs to be set at bottom of ladder and there is a rubberized protective top piece when placed against a tree or other sensitive surface. The hooks also can be installed and removed with ease. They also swivel so they can line up with most surfaces.

Almost perfect... but
I own a home inspection business and these ladders are essential to my business, because I quite honestly use this ladder in various (precarious) situations on a daily basis. Climbing three flights of stairs with a ladder is a potential liability for damage for me and climbing onto roofs is the most dangerous part of my job. This ladder is very light weight and easy to carry. The Velcro on this ladder is absolute garbage, it will work for maybe a couple weeks and then no stick at all. Good Velcro must be very expensive, because I've had several other ladders of this type that have the same issue. The good thing about this ladder is that the Velcro doesn't have to hold the ladder together when carrying it around. Other folding type ladders fully rely on the Velcro to keep it together and I had to use bungee cords to hold them together just to carry it. This one is not that way because you carry it from the bottom rung and the ladder extends upwards. So no issues when carrying the ladder... only when loading/unloading from my truck... but I can deal with that. Please get better Velcro! Annoying a heck.So the next issue when dealing with these types of ladders is the release mechanisms when folding down the ladder. This ladder is very good at collapsing the ladder. It is very easy to operate and the chances of getting your fingers smashed is lower than other ladders that I've owned. I used a ladder of this type (only) one time where it took me about four minutes just to collapse the ladder. But this one takes about 20 seconds or less. Very good design and so far so good after about 200 uses.I did have an issue with the bottom rung of this ladder not being fully secured upon first use. The first time I stepped on the bottom rung, it collapsed on one side and I didn't feel comfortable letting my client climb the ladder to see the attic in that situation. When I got home, used a rubber mallet to pound the bottom rung back into place and it's been good ever since. That seems to be a quality control issue. I almost returned the ladder, but I'm glad I didn't at this point. The last issue when buying this type of ladder is stability. For me, I am most concerned about climbing on rooftops and stability of the ground below. So first of all, do NOT place this ladder on a slick deck surface to climb onto a roof... that general rule applies to all ladders, but especially this one. If this ladder had extended supports at the base, it would be much better for roof climbing applications. But it has performed quite well when used cautiously.Flexion is the last issue when talking about this type of ladder. There are two types of telescoping ladders: the double section type that folds in half, and the single section type like this one. You really have to be careful in how you're positioning these types of ladders (mostly) based upon how high you're climbing. This ladder is very good for climbing on single story homes, but getting down is the bigger issue. When climbing down from any position, you will want to feel like the ladder is stable. This is where the folding ladders have an advantage because you'll be grabbing onto a larger (seemingly my stable) top end of the ladder. With this ladder it seems less stable when climbing down but the flexion when climbing the ladder is MUCH better. It's a trade off, but I prefer less flexion as this ladder provides.I could go on more but here is the deal:-Improve the Velcro (please)-Collapsing mechanisms are very good-Quality control for initial use needs improvement-Stability could be improved at the base with extensionsIf anyone comes up with a ladder similar to this one with all of these qualifications, please let me know. This is a very good ladder, but with these stated improvements it could be the best ladder.

Great ladder
This compact aluminum ladder will serve you in multiple ways. I got this for my Nissan Sunrader to assist with getting in our cab over bed and the 8 1/2 length extends well to reach the roof on the sides to clean our solar panels. Folds down to a compact size for storage.

It's more wobbly than a solid ladder but they all are
I'm 5' 10 1/2" tall and 186lbs, and this ladder works very well for me. I have seen some reviews saying they had issues with the ladder being dangerous when collapsing it. Not so. If you use common sense you start at the top and each section has it's own release, or you can pick a release part way down and everything above that will collapse. If you choose the bottom release and be sure to keep your neck or fingers between the sections well think Murphy's law.I love this ladder, much lighter than folding or conventional, effortless extending and collapsing. The rubber base is solid and sturdy. I would recommend

Safe and effective ladder
I love this ladder. The design, quality and ease of use stand out. It is an engineering masterpiece. It has the following features that set it above others on Amazon: hooks for the gutter cleaning, rubber attachment to allow it to “hug” a tree, wider base rail for more stability, simple telescoping action, light weight and safer by design. BUY ONE!!
