Works great
The saw is rather flimsy when fully extended but if you take your time and cut with short methodical strokes, it will get the job done. I cut live oak limbs overhanging my roof that were 25 to 30 feet high. The cheapest quote for professional service was $1300. This was well worth it for the price and huge savings vs. the professional quotes. The saw is sharp but i don't recommend it for limbs larger than 3-4 inches thick when fully extended. Its a good saw when you use it correctly and with patience.

One very useful pole and saw setup.
I bought the pole with the GoSaw so that branches that my standard pole saw would not reach. The pole is equal in weight and balance. I found it works better and is stronger than what I have been using. The ability to use other standard threaded items on the pole is very useful. The clamps don't stay tight, so you'll have to carry a Phillips screw driver to adjust them now and then. The pop-rivets that holds the thread tip on don't last, so you'll have to replace with screws. This solved the problem. I like this pole and GoSaw. The fact that I could use the saw quickly without the pole made my work faster. I would definitely buy this again.

Cuts very well, but top breaks after about 20 uses.
I first bought the slightly shorter version and when that broke, I bought this one, which also broke. The saw blades work great, but the rivets on the top part break, so there is no way to fix it. On this one, before that happened, the tightening screw stopped working (i.e. was stripped), so the head would turn while using it, which made it very difficult to cut some branches. I used them about once every other month to trim trees, usually for a couple of hours. Each lasted about 3 years, which isn't horrible, but should have lasted longer than approximately 20 uses. The longer one definitely bent a lot while using it near full length. (I never extend any section to full length, always leaving about 9-12 inches from full.) I am attaching photos of the screw and the broken rivet.

Amazing Saw
This really is an amazing saw. Fully extended, I was able to saw branches off a huge elm tree. At first, I was disappointed because it was wobbly but it sawed through the branches incredibly well. Just one note to future buyers - uou will have a hard time with small branches far from the base. You need the leverage of a strong branch that can stay immobile during the sawing. If you saw near the trunk of the tree, it'll go through it like butter. This saw is SHARP!

Not strong enough for work around a house
I bought the 30 foot pole because we have high ceilings and tall trees. When pole is extended is starts to bend when you get it brand new out of the box, it doesn't keep straight it always has a flex and is wobbly. The plastic tightners break and apparently when sawing into a limb with their own saw designed for this, the aluminum in one of the sections bent. I asked if there was a warranty on aluminum bending, they said no. I asked if I could buy a section of the pole since only 1 section was bent, they said no. So they offer little to no product support after you buy. Since I'm forced into buying another, it will not be a Doca, it will be something heavier duty that doesn't break or hopefully if it does break, a company that will stand behind their product and let you buy a piece you need (instead of saying throw it in a landfill and buy a new one). I've had the pole for 3 years and while the height/length is nice, the flimsiness of it kills its effectiveness and makes it extremely hard to weird when fully extended. Will not purchase again.

really difficult to use
The locking system out of the box is really poor and slips alot. You can tighten it up with a screwdriver to solve this. Its really flimsy/bendy when everything is extended. You have to make sure each segment is not fully extended, only say 3/4 extended. It reduces its maximum length but helps alot with flexing. The saw sucks. It just plain out sucks. The kerf is too small so it gets jammed easily. The amount of strength required to do an undercut some 20~ feet in the air with this thing is absurd. You'll get gassed out after 2 branches. If the kerf was wider it wouldn't get stuck so easily. Anyhow, when your cutting, pay VERY close attention to how harder each cut gets. If it does, pull the saw all the way out and start cutting back down again to avoid it getting pinched/jammed in there. There is no way to change angle of the cut when its really high up. The best you can do is go at it from the other side. This helps tremendously when doing bigger branches. The saw needs the weight of the branch to make any sort of progress. It the branch is jammed or hung up on other branches and can't sag down, sawing will be extremely difficult. It will feel as if the blade isnt sharp enough when you try to cut. Try to untangle the branch so gravity can help you when your cutting. Reeeealy wish the saw had a wider kerf. Now the pole itself i would rate 4 stars, its a great pole, minor issues i explained above. But i bought it to be main use as a polesaw, so i rate 3 star. The duster attachment is great for spiderwebs on cameras.

Awesome product, well worth the money
It’s a great saw; it’s everything that was advertised and more. With it I was able to cut branches that were between 1” and 5” in diameter and that hung twenty or more feet off the ground. I am very pleased with it. The only pieces of advice I would give is follow the instructions on the very easy-to-read sheet that comes with it. In particular, pay attention to two things: 1. The plastic locks aren’t enough to lock the polls; be sure to use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten. (This is spelled out in the instructions.) 2. Follow the advice about letting the saw - and gravity- do the work. Of course, if you extend the poles to their fullest length, the saw will seem a little unwieldy. But com’on, what do you expect, the thing is 30’ long! Just take time and be patient and persistent. It’s a great product that I was pleasantly surprised by.

Works Well...if you read the instructions first!
This is a useful tool. I used it to trim our Birch trees. Very important to read all the directions and tighten the locking screw for the saw blade. If you don't, the saw blade may come off the tip and get stuck up in the tree. Adjust the pole length starting from the bottom first and then work up toward the tip. If you can get the angle right, the saw will cut extremely well, especially if the branch you're cutting stems from a stout leader. If what you're trying to cut stems from a more flexible branch, it will be much more challenging. The farther out you extend the pole, the less pressure you can apply to the cut because the pole becomes increasingly flexible. It takes some practice, but once you get the hang of it, you should be very satisfied with the performance. Try to cut in a manner that isn't in a direct line with the growth habit of the limb you're cutting because once the limb is severed, it might follow the pole down toward you, which will cause you to lower the pole with the weight of the limb. If the limb is heavy, it could bend the pole when it all comes down together and hits the ground. Much better to do your cutting with no leaves on the tree. The limbs will be much lighter without the added weight of the leaves and you will be able to see where to cut much easier. Good luck!

Incredible reach - for jobs otherwise beyond consideration
I used the full 9.1m length to cut a couple of overhanging branches of an oak tree that were blocking evening light to my patio. These branches were just a couple of inches thick, and at full extension it took several minutes to cut each. Not easy, but with patience no real problem. I have also cut a few lower branches, which were easier. Not that I have given only 3 stars for ease of use - that is because it is bound to be difficult to operate a saw blade on a 9.1m pole so the rating is based on the inherent difficulty of the task. However if cutting branches at height is a job that you really need to do - I recommended this product. The saw is sharp and attached easily and the extension section clamps operated both easily and effectively - so in respect of the product itself a rating of 5 stars would be deserved. I am very impressed with the design of the product to enable operation at this extreme length and light weight. Moreover - the customer service was outstanding. - There was a minor fault with the initial delivery and I was surprised at how quickly the supplier rep (Alona) responded via the messaging centre. She asked a few questions for clarification of the problem and very quickly resolved it. I could not be happier with the product and customer service.

El producto es tal y como indica el anuncio al tratarse de una pértiga muy larga es comprensible que tenga bastante oscilación cuando se emplea completamente desplegada.
