Audtek Platinum Positive (+) Battery Terminal Block

This terminal is fantastic EXCEPT that it was WAY TOO BIG for the positive battery post. I had to buy a battery terminal cap from the auto parts store for a couple bucks, then everything was perfect. Just plan ahead so you don't find yourself half way through installing on a Sunday afternoon without any stores open. Otherwise, I highly recommend this piece. Other terminals I've used with the allen screws clamping the terminal to the post stripped out so easily I couldn't even get a decent connection. Tried several brands, the metal is just to soft for that type of design. This traditional nut and bolt is the solution, and the versatility of this unit is great. For even more versatility I replaced the allen screws on top with pan heads and attached other accessories with ring terminals.

That's the problem when you buy things over the internet without personally inspecting before you buy, i bought two of them and both of them had minor hairline scratches on its surface, bearable because you wouldn't actually stare at the terminals and look for any damage when installed, over all, it still looks good when installed, puts an added 'class' to your vehicle's under the hood accessories. How can you really complain for shiny terminals for just $5? Still a good buy.

Creates perfect contact with the battery terminal, and has multiple plug sizes to accommodate 8, 4, and 1/0 gauge wire. Built out of solid brass, what more do I have to say? I gave it 4 stars because it just does what it's supposed to do, it doesn't need that 5th star. Make sure you get both positive and negative.

Does what I need it to do at a decent price. Disappointed that it's slightly too big. I don't like having to use shims on battery terminals. Different metals lead to corrosion faster when electricity is involved. I got the proper positive and negative terminals & both are slightly over sized.

Bought these for a 1991 GMC K15. Doesn't take a genius to install. Simple to put on. I like the separate spots for the wires. I hate having my wires all bound up and twisted together like ordinary terminal ends. They never worked loose...stayed tight. Used them until I sold my truck and had them on it for about 2 yrs. Never had a problem. Got good comments on the looks.

Got it plugged in to my Die Hard Platinum battery. Works great. My voltage to my car audio capactor increased a good .2 volts. That is after stripping the wires going into it and using dielectric grease. Try it! I did a few other little upgrades and now I have 15.0 volts coursing through my electrical system when I first crank her up.

would not work on my tundra. I would have had to cut the terminal on the OEM wire to the battery to make it work. So did not use it. BUT, I might try it on my boat and see what it will do.

The quality and the Look of the terminal is a grade A+ and I'll get back to you when I install it tomorrow. Nov.7,2014.(YEA'). I installed it and my system sounds very GOOD thank you for a very good and quality item.I also installed a 250 amp alternator, my god what a difference. I'm very pleased with the outcome. Thank you
