Life Changer
I don't know where to begin....this is a life changer. I think this is one of the most important books ever written on visualization and the brain. Jon's genuine humility and expertise on the subject make it especially powerful. It is packed FULL of great information and you actually feel loved when you read it. For what it's worth....as a practicing Christian, I find Jon's techniques to be a huge help in seeing and understanding the practical application of spiritual guidelines that I get in my formal scriptures. I think a Buddhist, Muslim, or members of any other faiths would find the same thing. Now I just need to apply what I've learned! Very powerful stuff....thank you Jon.

This works
I really love this book. I found it when looking for information on how Vitamin D affects weight loss, but that is only a small part of this book. I am trying several methods at the same time and this is one of them I have not tried before, and I am losing weight. The visualizations are great and helpful.Jon's weight loss testimony is amazing and inspiring as well. You won't believe the transformation. I don't have that much weight to lose, only about 30 pounds, but I'm hoping for amazing results.

I have been a follower of Jon for some time now and have found his advice to be so very helpful. Jon's bedtime meditation is a must, it totally relaxes me and I sleep much better because of this particular meditation. I have done many meditation programs over the years and Jon's are by far the best; I can do them sitting up, lying down and walking; there are short ones and long ones and, as a result, there is a meditation for every moment so I actually do them! This book is clear and to the point with a lot of helpful suggestions. I particularly like how the book is divided into sections so if you're looking for something in particular, i.e., visualization to develop intuition, then you go to that section. This book is more than about weight loss in particular, it is about looking at and changing your beliefs and relaxing in general...I highly recommend Jon's book!

I enjoy his direct writing style and scientific study references
I read Jon Gabriel's first book so I skipped the stories/information that were repetitive for me. I enjoy his direct writing style and scientific study references. I loved the visualizations in this book. I'm open to visualization anyway, but I will say I'm surprised by the results I've seen so far by regular practice in a short time. My body is physically changing, I'm losing weight without effort and my appetite and cravings are changing. My only wish ALL of the visualizations were available electronically with the music, SMART mode intro and such. I've made a few of the visualization recordings on my own but it isn't the same :)

Lost 75 lbs over a year
I have been gaining weight over the last 12 years, and none of my efforts to diet or exercise made any results before I would quit and bounce back. I bought a treadmill, bought a TV for watching during my walk, yet nothing inspired me enough to go for more than a week or two. I would rather sit and watch TV than walk and watch. Never liked the diet food and snack, and always craved ice cream, deserts and pastas. Everything changed the same week I bought this book, started reading and applied Jon's methods. It was real magic although everything made perfect sense to me when I read it. I no more have to use any of these expensive equipment, yet I enjoy every moment I walk, run, yoga or meditate. I enjoy all kinds of healthy food. Once I learn some food is healthy, I go look for different recipes. Now I enjoy everything I eat and have no desire to eat any kind of sugary deserts or unreal food.I am incredibly grateful to Jon and everyone else who made this change in my life.I advise everyone to give this book a try.

I did pretty much the "minimum" I did a 5 minute visualization ...
I used this book as part of a number of small lifestyle changes that led to a pronounced weight loss (I went from about 140 to 120 in 3 months) ...I did pretty much the "minimum" I did a 5 minute visualization in the morning while listening to a youtube video that was supposed to induce alpha and theta brain waves (these brain states are talked about in the book). I don't know much about the validity of these kinds of videos or whether they actually produce these brain waves, but I'm including it in my review because it was something I did regularly. In any case, it was part of my routine, which helped to get me into a "meditative" state of mind. I then listened to Jon Gabriel's 20 minute evening meditation (which you can find for free on his website/by googling) as I was falling asleep. This is all I did after reading the book to pick up the techniques. It made weight loss feel really easy. I was able to get my mind off it and every time I stepped on the scale it seemed I was losing weight. Again, I used many things and read many books as I was losing weight, but I definitely credit this book enormously with helping me. I have kept up the morning and evening meditations even though I am where I want to be in terms of my body simply because I find myself to be a more focused and energetic person when this is part of my routine.

This is just like other reviewers said: if you got Jon’s book/cd this cd is so repetitive. I wish it was straight forward visualization but it’s not. It slowed me down in getting started with doing visualizations because it’s hard to find it in the cd. Jon has great stories from people as well as his own of loosing weight with his method but this cd isn’t straight forward and makes the process for someone who wants to start very hard.**** I did discover a great way and hope you’ll find it helpful too. I bought Jon’s book as well as the audio version of the book!!! In his book it’s EASY to find the visualizations and than look it up on the audio version and have you guide you. Another thing I underestimated was something he mentions, he has a FREE EVENING VISUALIZATION on his website, he tells his audience to download it. It’s the best start!!!

thoughtful, helpful, enlightening
I read the earlier book and though there's a lot of overlap, I think it's really worth it to buy this book as well. It covers the visualisation practices in more detail, and gives a straightforward 16–week programme to follow (if one wants to). The bonus content that's free to download from the site are very much worth it.Most of all, I really like Jon's tone in all this. He sounds extremely sincere. He never resorts to hype or scare–mongering, or trashing the other side. I like his balance of science–based evidence and more spiritual aspects. I too believe both sides really help to make things click.It's a very good read, and I gobbled it up in one day. Excited to start the visualisation practice.

A Must read for anyone looking for New Visualization Meditations
I am not new to this. I took a Silva workshop over 20 years ago, hypnotized myself for child birth (which is totally awesome!) over 30 years ago and have read and worked with many methods over the years….and yet I still find this man to be Brilliant. The methods he used for weight loss, and the other meditations in this book, are like Silva techniques on steroids. I didn't buy the book to lose weight….more so I don't start to gain as I become less young. The main reason I bought it is 'coz I'm always looking for fresh,new ideas and he certainly provided them.He joins my list of favorites…Donna Eden, Richard Gordon, Barbara Ann Brennan, Dr Joe Dispenza, Anthony Norval, Joseph Murphy and of course Burt Goldman and Jose Silva.

therapy this book has come like a ray of last hope in life
After trying so many diets, exercises , therapy this book has come like a ray of last hope in life. It absolutely changed my approach regarding weight and body , its worth reading.Though many won't believe it but today mind over matter is a proven fact. The visualisation techniques described are literally simple yet helpful. Must try!!
