Works for a novice
Experienced printers have told me to go the route of PETG for my printing."As easy as PLA with the strength of ABS" they said...So I bought this stuff. I used to cast in Aluminium - I thought this may look similar.I've started printing components...They look great and they work.Filament seems a joy to use.

230 Degrees is NOT hot enough.
**** Just wanted to update my review, i managed to get the PETg to work and have the following conclusion:1 - This (maybe all) petg is not great for intricate functional parts, i had to change the design of my axle to get it staple and somewhat strong enough to use.2 - The Hot end temp of 230 just does not seem to stick well on the CR-20 build plate. I had to go above 240 to get it to stick. Other surfaces may stick better but beware.3 - Strength wise i will need to test more but i tip i heard was to use less or now cooling fan for a stronger layer fusion.****So i bought a Creality CR-20 Pro a few months ago and it's been printing great. Now i needed to print some wheel axles for my dish washer. I used to print in ABS on my thingomatic no problem, so taught that PETG should do the job here. It's a small intricate piece and at first it looks to print fine but it is brittle as hell at the small areas of the print. At 230 it wouldn't stick to the bed, bringing the hotend to 240 fixed that but still brittle. Brought up to 250 thinking that that should do the trick but no. I'm at the limit of where i can go with the CR-20 pro without replacing the hot end and going higher with the temps. The thicker areas of the part seem ok but for fine details this looks like a no go.

Pet not petg but good strength
Really surprised buybthe strength of this pet not petgRun through a quick test print to clear nozzle before printing with this to ensure it ls clear of old filament else it'll be brittleUsed petg setting and updated to bePrinted at 235 /60 bed 80% speed with a little 3dlac spraywait until cool before removing from bedComes out like frosted glass so not clearIts not tightly wound so be carefulAs its not petg it doesn't seem to absorb moisture like petg so all go imo

Very Impressive
I designed a rather challenging item for PETG, over 200 retractions printing those thin stand-offs and to my surprise it printer perfectly time after time, great filament! I like that it comes in 500g spools for same price you'd usually pay for 1kg.

Great cheap filament
First use of PETG on my CR-10S.At 70°C, the adhesion on my printbed is perfect. As I believe is typical with printing PETG, the print is quite stringy and boogery, but the prints finish off really nicely with a really satisfying feel.

not what i was expecting
i bought this item as it was advertised as PET filament it wasn't till it arrived that i saw it is labelled as PETG i went back to the listing and in one place in brackets it lists it as PET-G i would not of bought it if i had seen that one line every other PETG is listed as just that PETG PET is a different item. however as PETG the item performs well no warping light stringing (PETG is prown to stringing) was expensive for a 500g spool, wont be buying again. you can get 1kg spools just as good for the price.
