Popcornopolis Gourmet Cheddar Cheese Popcorn 27 Ounce (Pack of 6)

2022-05: Last batch was a bunch of stale popcorn. I’m done.2021-04-09: YUM! FRESH AGAIN! This batch is fresh like from a grocery store. I've seen it go out of stock since then, so I'm going to try another batch...Original review from 2020-11 purchase:When I buy this in the store, it’s fresh and addictive. What I received from Amazon (November 24, 2020) was more on the stale side. I still ate it because hey, it’s delicious. However, its lack of freshness is why six bags lasted so long in my house (a couple months instead of a week). Hesitant to purchase another batch.

This is great tasting popcorn... First tried it at our local blockbuster DVD store but then went direct to the Popcornopolis website and ordered direct - the big cones. At Blockbuster and direct from Popcornopolis it was fresh and crunchy but for some odd reason this tasted a bit stale from the very first. The flavor is amazing and just a large handful will satisfy that salty craving but it may be a bit stale if u get it from amazon... I do highly recommend Popcornopolis though... It IS the BEST popcorn you can get and we've tried a lot! The pecan and zebra is unreal too. I recommend giving it a try at your local blockbuster first then their direct website. They have a nice array of yummy addicting flavors - we've gotten many many friends and family addicted to it and it makes a great gift if shipped direct from Popcornopolis- they have neat packages. (by the way... The candied ones tend to be fresher from the beginning and last a long time!)

Literally our favorite gourmet popcorn!!! I bought one for each of us to go with our a Christmas stocking and they were gone by mid-day! The flavor is amazing, not artificial, the popcorn is crunchy and oh so good! If you like the cheddar and want an extra kick, try the jalapeño cheddar, also delicious!

I first tried Popcornopolis in LA, Cali. Cheddar Cheese was my favorite. They don't sell this in stores so I was looking online for this product...and I found it cheaper on amazon than on the popcornopolis website. After reading reviews, I was weary from ordering from amazon as some complained about the quality and freshness of the product. I ended up taking the chance, and so glad I did! So besides the cheaper price, the popcorn tasted great! The 6 pack is big enough to share and it was yum yum good! Better than regular packaged cheddar cheese popcorn from the corner store and the closest thing you'll get to fresh popped cheddar cheese popcorn. YUM!

I absolutely love Chicago-style cheese and caramel popcorn like Garrett's. So, feeling a craving for the stuff, I decided to try this gourmet cheddar cheese popcorn. It was delicious, but very salty. The cheese is also not the same quality of stuff that they use in the better Chicago popcorn shops. Frankly, it didn't taste as cheesy and a bit fake. The popcorn itself was quite fresh though.All in all, I guess if you're desperate for some gourmet-esque popcorn, this stuff is good. However, in my book, it doesn't compare to the real, fresh gourmet popcorn shops' stuff.

Okay, if you're reading this, there's one thing you should know. The cheddar popcorn is by the best flavored popcorn I have ever had in my life. No joke, the flavor is intense and it doesn't taste artificial or anything.The drawback is the price, but if you love popcorn...price should be of no concern.

I didn't think it was that bad....definitely has the cheddar flavor and it was a lot more than I expected. I had a few handfuls and thought I did well for stocking stuffers....but apparently not the case. We usually order from a specialty shop in Chicago that is renown for popcorn, so a few popcorn snobs in the family. Their comments on this offering it tasted like plastic, waxy, and wasn't edible. So....I have a lot of popcorn to eat now. I will say I didn't have the issues other had: it wasn't stale, not too many kernels, and so on. Plenty of cheddar flavoring. It just wasn't a hit at our house. Since I personally thought it was okay, I went with three stars but took two away since it couldn't convince the popcorn critics of the house to even get beyond a handful. I will say the price was pretty high given I could have gotten a tin from our usual spot for the same price....but that fell on me for ordering last minute.

I really love this popcorn but this batch was not fresh. It was stale and not worth eating! I buy it all the time but this one wasn't your best quality!
