It's My Life: Caitlin: Book 2 (Diary of a Teenage Girl)

Great series for teenage girls. Have good real life situations in them but most importantly God is always there to help the character through their situations. It refreshing. My daughter is 16 and she finished the first series and now is working on the next story line. I wish more Christian fiction was out for teens. They really need it in today's world.

Great teenage stories that draw students to want to read the book. I can't keep the series of books in my classroom. As soon as it's checked in it's checked out by someone else. Every teeenager's story.

"Is it just me or is this world going totally nuts?...." Or so begins the life story of Caitlin O'Conner, the main character in the book It's My Life, by Melody Carlson. This magnificent story captures the thoughts and issues of a teenager's struggles to follow God's pathway. "Dear God, show me what you want me to do about things like string bikinis and the like. And show me how you want me to live." (Page 13-Carlson) This quote shows how Caitlin turns her troubles to God in order to achieve peace of mind. Also, it portrays her newfound faith- Christianity. Overall, this book was a great way to convey what teenagers are faced with in today's world.

This is a terrific book! I bought it for my 15 year old daughter but decided to read it before giving it to her. I'm glad I did and I recommend it to all moms of teens!

Bought this for my daughter....she LOVES it....great book. BTW...my daughter is 14 yrs old.

My daughter enjoyed this teen series of books. It was purchased as a Christmas gift. It was a good guy also.

I chose this rating because I thought this book was excellent and it has taught me so much about letting go and trusting God!
