The Complete Idiot's Guide to Starting and Running a Retail Store

My daughter is opening a women's clothing store, and although she has about 15 years of experience working in that field and knew much of what this book taught, it was still very helpful. It spans the years of retail with information that gives a big picture how this business works. Helpful lists to make you think through details. Lots of information, but very easy to read.

This book is really easy to read, and very informative. I want to start my own retail business some day, and this book had great reviews. I'm a young professional, so I wanted something I could relate to and this book definitely works for me. It's opened up my eyes to a lot of things I hadn't thought about and reminded me about things I had forgotten.If you're interested in starting your own retail business, this is a great start. Excellent book

Not enough information. It basically states the obvious.

I'm working at my first retail job so I wanted to know what those other guys (who get the bigger paychecks) know.

Very basic but goes into detail on the basics of opening a retail store. Gives a good overall look into the strategies that should be considered and where your focus should lie.

The Complete Idiot's Guide to Starting and Running a Retail Store is a "must have" to start your Retail business....

Book as described by seller. Easy to read. Have found a few tips that were different from other books I have read in the area of interest.

There are some useful sections but the technical, law and accounting side is aimed at the American commerial sector so utterly useless in this regard.
