Rory the Dinosaur: Me and My Dad Kindle Edition

We do a bedtime story before bed every night. i had been looking for a book my son could give his dad for fathers day. I have loved Liz Climo for years and usually buy her desk calendars. After scouring the internet, this was best dad/kid book I could find. The story is cute and shows kids that their parents are always looking out. Rory is also an adorable dino.

My baby nephew is named Rory and this made the perfect gift for my brother in law. It's a sweet story about a baby dinosaur named Rory who doesn't want to disturb his busy dad, so he decides to go out on an adventure alone. Rory's dad sees Rory heading out and decides to follow him but stay out of sight. Whenever Rory runs into trouble, his dad helps him and Rory thinks he does it all on his own. After a short adventure, Rory decides the best adventures are with his dad and rushes home to tell him all about it.Made my heart melt. Such a great story for any dad!

I love Rory the Dinosaur! Liz Climo's work is amazing and this book is no exception. I gave it as a Christmas gift to three different dads and they all loved it--as did their kids. I think this would be a great Father's Day gift as well. The illustrations are beautiful and the story is sweet.

Both the art and the story here are lovely. It's about adventure and independence but also love and trust.

5 stars do not capture the awesomeness and sweetness of this book

I really love the book! It's adorable. My only issue is that the packaging scuffed up the cover pretty good. The book would have been safer had it been wrapped in tissue paper before being enclosed in the padded envelope.

These books are a real hit with my two year old. My daughter loves reading generally but there is something extra special about Rory. I think the illustrations are particularly captivating: they are simple but incredibly emotive. Even as an adult it's difficult not to smile. All three books released have lovely messages about friends and family. I hope Liz Climo produces more!

Oh what an adorable book! Bought as Father's Day gift for my husband on behalf of our children. It's a beautiful story and the children (aged 3 and 5) loved it too

This book is by an incredible cartoonist Liz Climo. The story is sweet and lovely. My girlfriend and I love her books and we're starting a library to share with our child. This is an lovely insight into Liz's creative world. Thank you Ms. Climo for sharing your talents with the world.
