Trophy Music Jaw Harp - NEW

Excellent harp. Not much to say. It plays great, is small, and makes anyone laugh when you play it.

I had this Mouth Harp delivererd overnight via Amazon Prime to my eight year-old son while at sleep-away camp.The good: In the era of cheap, junky small toys that draw on the nostalgia of youth but ultimately disappoint when they show up cheaply made, don't work as advertized (or the same as the originals did) then fall apart, this Mouth Harp is the real deal. It's well made and plays a nice hearty "BOING!"A consideration: There's a degree of oral dexterity required to use the harp and although a child can definitely do it, it's not really made for a child-sized mouth. My son can do it but has a hard time doing it well and I suspect a slightly smaller harp would be easier for him.

The harp looks great, the packaging is just as you see it. Unfortunately the harp itself is worthless.The gap is too great, and generates no tone.It forces you to try and squeeze the prongs closer, but eventually the striker hits metal on one side or the other.I have tried to chomp down harder on the prongs, but in the war between metal vs enamel, metal will win, so I don't advise doing so.A simple QC check of these things during production would have identified this failure, but in this day & age the manufacturer knows people will throw it away instead of returning the item. Which is what I will do with this one.It's only a few bucks, so I'm not shedding any tears, it was a Christmas gift for my daughter, so I told her it was going to the island of misfit toys.So yeah, if you are seeking to simply put stuff in the trash, then buy this harp.

More difficult to use than anticipated. It probably works fine. I don't think it is my cup of tea.

Fun to play. Came in early then expected. But don't follow the instructions. I spend 1 hour figuring out how to play it. Got frustrated and ordered another one cause i thought the dam thing is broke. Went on YouTube and finally i got it right.

The jaw harp is awesome. It appears to be high quality. The first harp I bought him broke after two days. My son enjoys playing this harp. He is still trying to learn different tunes. He loves the noise, the small size and the general idea of the Jaw Harp. It was an excellent choice for him. It shipped quickly.

I played with this thing for a couple of days. Aside from smacking myself in the teeth a few times, I could not get an audible sound from it. I had an experienced Jaw Harp player try it out, and he too could not get a sound from it - citing a weak center area (I don't know the proper name) as the cause.

I've had this thing for about six months and I still haven't figured out how to get it to make any sort of non-obnoxious noise lol But its fun to play around with (and really fun to have guests try).

Description in Website is correct. Seller is good. But this is not a good jaw harp.
