Buying a tool sight-unseen is always a gamble. Reviews help...but there are a lot of weird people out there and sometimes I'm convinced they just write stuff to muddy the waters. It's confusing. I'm not a professional tile setter but I am a pretty experienced handyman and I wanted a cheap saw to use in remodeling a couple of bathrooms. I ordered this saw hoping it would serve.The saw I received does everything as advertised. It arrived fast, assembly was easy...basically a bolt on the arbor and two small screws for the guard, all included. It's small and light but the included blade cut through porcelain tile easily with no chipping. Cutting through a 6" tile took about 20 seconds. It does throw a little water but if someone has a problem with that, they should read the part about it being a wet saw. Cutting tile requires water. So don't stand in front of your wife's new drapes when you're cutting. The water is really not bad at all...just a mist mainly when the reservoir is full. And that leads me to my only complaint...filling the reservoir could be a little easier. It's under the table so you have to tilt the saw a little and use a pitcher or something with a spout. When you're flailing around and your mortar is drying, looking for something small you can use to pour water is a nuisance. So have something handy.Bottom line: if you're a professional tile setter and need to tile the floor of an entire shopping mall, this may not the be the saw for you. But for a homeowner who just does tiling occasionally, it's perfect. I've cut probably 100 tile so far and it's worked great .

I bought this wet saw because I had what I thought was a small job and the saw was inexpensive. However, the job ended up requiring a LOT more tile cutting than I had anticipated, but this little saw handled it all admirably, and no doubt could do lots more.

I bought this for one project. Refacing a fireplace mantel and hearth with ledgerstone. Overall: Great, but know what you’re getting. 1) The blade included was serviceable, wasn't flat and was slightly out of round. Once I changed it out with a quality inexpensive blade with a small kerf, my cuts improved vastly. Buy a new blade! 2) I didn't use bevel cuts so I can't comment much on that. I don't see it working well for natural faced material like ledgerstone. Plan accordingly. 3) The rip fence is finicky, difficult to set straight across the table, but to be expected with this level consumer grade product. Patience and persistence is required. 4) For smaller pieces, use the same techniques as wood table saws with push sticks. 5) The blade trailing edge is slightly off alignment with the blade guard, so if you’re cutting long pieces they can get hung up on the guard. I wasn’t able to determine a way to adjust this. Again, plan to compensate accordingly. This is a consumer grade wet saw and was a solid workhorse, saved me $$ compared to renting a wet saw and produced quality results with some experience.

We are using 6" x 6" Benisa white porcelain tile for a kitchen backsplash. 8 mm thick. This is just right size for this job. The tile is good quality and very hard. This table saw type setup is working just great. The blade that came with the saw cut right thru the tiles. Its easy to pick up and take out back to rinse off after each use. This gives straight clean cut lines. I had seen youtube videos where some people just use an angle grinder with a diamond blade to cut tile, but there is no way I can give as clean a cut with the angle grinder on exposed edges that have been cut. I do use an angle grinder to make the outlet cuts when not able to pass thru the table saw, but these edges are covered by an outlet cover. This table saw tile cutter will give you a professional cut edge when the edge will be exposed. The adjustable fence comes with engraved ruler marks and I often just use those to make the cuts. I never write reviews but, this is such a great tool and easy to use. I stop using the guide and you can also do it free handed.
