OXO Good Grips Silicone Sink Drain Strainer

I've used a few different brand sink drain things. Although a couple have looked better with matching our fancy black faucet, this oxo one is BY FAR the best as far as function.Others might have a slight lip on the rubber making the last 1/8 inch of water not to drain (trust me it matters, stagnant sink water gets gross fast), or they dont clean right or stain.This oxo sink drain cover is perfect , ALL the water drains and its incredibly stain resistant (if you're some sort of psycho that never cleans their sink drain cover you're going to want this even more). It works well.The rubber part will clog up if you never empty it, but thats more common sense than item specific as all sink drain covers clog if not cleaned.

Exactly as described. My (typical) cheap sink strainers always get stuck and make the water sit. Finally had enough, and decided to try this. Why did I wait so long?!There's no assembly required. They catch everything, and they're easy to clean. Most important, they don't make the water get stuck so that you have to move them, while still having a firm seal. The bottom is rubbery so it flexes. And it's a substantial weight, compared to the cheap kind.It's the little things like this OXO Good Grips Silicone Sink Drain Strainer that make a difference in how you like and function in your home. I haven't complained about my sink strainer one time since I bought this.So good I bought another one, as I have a double kitchen sink. I will NEVER use those cheap ones again.

Purchased this drain strainer to replace the oxo drain strainer that we had. The old one was old (10 years plus old) and I just could not get it clean anymore. The fit is great, works great, it’s easy to pick up and remove debris from the basket. It’s the only one I’ll purchase.

Our last cuisinart drain stopper just broke, so I got this OXO one that has the little grip in the middle. It was reasonably priced and works great. I use it when I am washing my no-melt ice balls. It makes it easy so they don't end up in the garbage disposal. Works well. Prevents stuff from going down the drain, but still lets the water drain quickly. Made well and lightweight.

This fits the stock drain recess perfectly. It looks sharp and is easily emptied by just turn it upside down, though it can be inverted with the center knob. Putting it in the dishwasher occasionally soothes the mind.

Replaced N old metal one with one of these and am now comparing one traditional metal one with this one.So far:I like the flexibility of the material, which helps you clean it.It washes well in the dishwasher.It fits perfect and catches all it is supposed to catch.

This fits in the drain of my stainless steel kitchen sink. The thin outer ring makes it look built-in. Easy to clean. I set it aside in the dish drying rack when I need to use a stopper to fill the sink.
