Slush Puppie 9047 Slushie Machine

This has been used HEAVILY by the resident teen during the heatwave, he is very happy with his purchase. It is incredibly loud when it runs, but it's quick enough that it's not a big issue. No parts have broken or come loose, it's fairly quick and easy to clean the parts that needs regular cleaning and it's not so big that it doesn't easily stow away with the Kenwood. He has used all kinds of syrups from different brands but finds he enjoys the original Slush Puppie Blue Raspberry the most and he has spent pocket money buying another of those.

Bought this for my 11 year old daughter and with the recent heatwave, it’s been an indispensable piece of kit. My daughter says it is very easy to use but I would advise parental supervision with younger children (due to the blades). However, there are safety features which stop the slushy maker from spinning (if jug not attached properly). A good price, arrived quickly. A great product for the summer!

I bought this for my son for Christmas. It’s a bit noisy and doesn’t crush the ice as much as he’d like. I also bought the Slush Puppie flavours and a cup and all together they make a pretty good Slush Puppie at home.

It looks fine, its a pressie, so i cant say too much as its not been used, but it arrived in goid time.

We were all really looking forward to getting this at Christmas. The machine itself seems Ok and well built, it’s easy to use and produces great crushed ice. However I did find that it doesn’t mix in the syrup properly only the bottom inch or so, so you have to mix it with a spoon afterwards. The worst thing though it the cost of the syrup, £9 a bottle and we only got 2 drinks out of each bottle! Cheaper to go to the local cinema and buy one!

A necessity in the Summer months.

The children have been after one of these machines for ages, but I kept looking at the reviews on all the different slush machines and the reviews for each of them was pretty much hit or miss. So I kept putting off buying one. An advert for this one on amazon popped up on my Facebook page and had quite a few stars going for it. So I leapt over to amazon to have a gander. Well I was very Impressed with what I was reading and bought it there and then. Turned up next day. The instructions were pretty much clear and understandable, but I do think it should tell you how to actually lift the jug up as you put in machine to connect the stirrer. It doesn’t state that and the first time we tried it the ice was spilling out of the jug. My child quickly identified that I hadn’t got the jug under properly, lol. Once the jug was put in the correct position it worked a real treat. I did tell the kids this was for them…..but I secretly bought it for me to make pina coladas in. Cheers
