No regrets; great scarf hanger
Was in search of a sturdy scarf hanger that would not snag, and the Ikea Komplement Hanger fits the bill. The hanger is perfectly lined with cloth that also prevents the scarves (especially silk) from falling out. The circles are also wide enough to hang several oblong scarves, and I was also able to hang some pashimas from the hanger Only minor issue is its width which slightly protudes on my clothing rack. Other than the width, this hanger is near perfect and a must buy for those who own several scarves.

Not sure what I expected
Its like something you make at craft school, still it does the job although for ties the bottom rungs will leave them dragging on the floor in most closets, for the price you cant compare it to the fancy battery tie revolvers and it takes up the space of a shirt.

Very well-made and pretty, too.
The hanger is very well made and easy to use. It should probably have 5 stars, but I hadn't realized how heavy it would be with the scarves put on it. I'm not sure how the scarves should be hung, either, but the way I'm doing it makes them easy to remove and a little harder to put back on after wearing. Still a good way to have the scarves easily accessible. It might be easier if the hook swiveled.

Excellent for hanging scarves--I wear more of my scarves now
Finally, my entire scarf collection is out in the open and I can bask in the glory of my many luxurious scarves. I'm kidding really(most are thrifted), but this is quite the useful organizing device. I have a few winter scarves, silk scarves and pashminas-- about 20 and there is still room for more. This is the best for smaller and thinner scarves, I would not put a loosely knitted scarf on this hanger because it might stretch the yarn out.I have it hanging on the back of my door for maximum visibility, but it could also work hanging in the closet or on the inside of the closet if you don't have a mirror there. I wear more of my scarves now that I can see them all. This is a nice lighter alternative to metal racks--keep in mind that is is cream colored and not as white as it is depicted in the picture.I will take a bit of effort to get them hanging neatly, but it is much better than my previous method of folding them up and putting them in a drawer where I can't reach or see them as readily.Good for college students, people without a dresser(me) people who want to maximize space and people with many scarves. If I had room I'd buy a second one just for tights.

Didn't work for me
I have several scarves and once I put them on this hanger, it was really hard to find them or put them back on the hanger. I think it would work better for small scarves and belts. I ended up buying a large basket and putting my scarves in there.

This is perfect for my scarf collection
This is perfect for my scarf collection! Out of the many options on Amazon, I chose this one because the circles are a little larger than others. Depending on the thickness of my scaves, I double or tripple up in each hole. It takes up a lot of space when you have 40 scarves (like me), both vertically and depthwise because that many scarves creates a lot of bulk. My ceiling is only 7 feet high. The hook is hanging about 4 inches from the ceiling, and the scarves nearly touch the floor. I have one narrow wall dedicated to only this hanger full of scarves and it takes up the entire wall. My scarves are only hanging in half, which is why they takes up so much vertical space for me when full. Regardless, I can see everything I have, so it's easy to make a selection for an outfit. I like to think of it as an art feature with the many colors and patterns of the scarves. Looks great in that narrow wall!

False Advertising!
The product is NOT as advertised! I bought this specifically because it had four circles per each row (which it said in the product description!) but it only has three. Really disappointed as I wanted this to hold a larger number of scarves. Thought I would be happy enough with the design to put up with it, but now wishing I had just returned it :(

EURIKA! No SNAGS on Scarves!
The IKEA Multi-use Hanger is excellent. I use it for my scarf collection. The entire rack including each compartment ring is completely wrapped in cloth so there is no way any metal or plastic can catch or snag delicate scarves or ties. I have several scarves from pure silk to open weave and they all are safe and easy to remove without having to search through and remove others to get to them. The openings are large enough that the scarves don't get wrinkled in storage. It is very lightweight, yet well made and easy to use.The only little improvement I would suggest is that the hanger top should be a swivel top so it can be hung facing outward, not just in the closet like the rest of the hangers.I had to search for quite a while to find this one, as all others I tried were cheaply made of metals or plastic with shards that would catch and snag. I am so very happy with this item! I highly recommend and would buy again for myself and as a gift.Thank you!
