Bookkeeping For Dummies (For Dummies Series)

This was an excellent refresher for me on basic bookkeeping.

Book arrived in new condition. Has great information and is very useful.

It is easy to understand.

Can understand each chapter.

I have absolutely zero accounting knowledge and am trying to understand bookeeping and the rules that apply. Although this book is pretty detailed, I'm still somewhat confused by the double entry system. I'm only about 20% into it and finding it difficult to get motivated to proceed. I'll have to proceed some and maybe update this recommendation if things get clearer. It may also be a case that I need something like a classroom environment to understand these concepts. Perhaps more later!

The add lead me to believe I was buying a new book. The book I received was not only used but had been abused. Certanly not worth the $20 price. Returning it is problematic as I will get dinged with shipping charges. I have been a contented Amazon customer for 10 years, this is the first problem. There must be a mutually agreeable solution to restore my confidence. Thanks
