Great idea, being used, but not where planned
This is a great product, but sadly it didn’t fit in my main sink, as the waste pipe is connected to the original drainer, and there is no such connection on this. It does fit the small side sink perfectly though, and is better than the original removable drainer so I am using it in there.

Fits exactly over a UK waste disposal unit hole
If you have a waste disposal unit under your sink, such as an Insinkerator etc, you will know that now and again they play up. While you are waiting to get it fixed, its a problem to stop things going down the hole. This strainer is what you need. It is the perfect size. It is NOT the size for a normal UK kitchen sink plughole, it's too big for that. Check the dimensions. I have placed it next to the hole in the photo, so you can see it will fit neatly. The build quality of this item seems acceptable. Not noticeably heavy quality, but not too tinny either. I have only just got it so I can't comment on how robust it is.

Just the right fit for my drain
I was a bit unsure if this drain cover would suit our sink as I had read mixed reviews. Thought would still give it a try. Turned out it’s a perfect fit for our sink.I like it that it has a bit that pops up for you to take it out from the drain and empty and clean it. The holes are of right size too- enough to block all kinds of food debris but not stopping water from draining away.The materials feel good quality too.

I thought it'll fit my kitchen sink but this one is big.

The prime sink drain solution
This drain cover should be standard!I am extremely pleased to say this was a perfect fit for my kitchen sink drain. Although looking different, the design is pure genius and noticeably there is nothing like it on the market. I frankly dont know why the original drain cover has such large slits which in all cases allow too much food debris to make it into the pipes.These holes are just the right. Almost all debris gets caught by the strainer - including rice and other small bits which ultimately mean far fewer or no more blockages. Best of all, above other sink drain covers, this adopts an innovative design whereby there always remains enough air and space i.e. on top, to allow water to pass through without clogging up. Since fitting, I have had zero complaints and simply had to leave to a review to recommend to others!
