One of the best for sensitive skin
I bought this specifically for the "mineral" ingredients, high concentration of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. It's a bit thick and makes the skin look white but it protects well and is not irritating to my eyes. I think it's the best protection, even with the white look on my skin.

Ghosted
I am allergic to fragrances and am able to use this sunscreen without allergic reactions. It performs well at blocking the sun and lasting through sweats. It takes some effort to spread it around evenly. It noticeably lightens my complexion, but it's not intolerable. However, my younger daughter calls me Casper when I wear it.

Not sticky or oily
I do not like any sunscreen that leaves a sticky, oily residue on my skin. I'd rather wear no sunscreen at all. My dermatologist had recommended Cerave moisturizing cream and I loved that, so I decided to give this a try. It has the consistency of a cream and rubs into my skin without making me feel icky. This is a sunscreen I can live with!

I guess ok sunscreen for an oily skin
As every mineral sunscreen it leaves white residue on skin (what is totally expected), but that’s not my concern, it does dry the skin. So probably if you have an oily type and larger follicles it might work for you. Didn’t work that well for me unfortunately ( I’m sensitive normal to dry skin type). But again, it’s all your personal skin so experience might be different with someone else.Give it 4 stars as it seems like ok sunscreen just not for dryer skin.

Stays white, doesn't blend in, misses on the appearance factor
The good thing is there is absolutely no doubt where the sunscreen is present. That portion of skin is ghostly white with a waxy texture. After spending 45 minutes in the Arizona Desert, 95 degrees, it still had not blended so i looked like a ghost. As an experiment, I used a hair dryer to really heat up my face to help it lose the white look. That was only marginally better. I am sure it is a very effective product, but work is needed to deal with the white look, which may be impossible given teh effective ingredients. I bought this because Crea Ve skin cream is wonderful.

Turns skin white
Don’t buy unless you want to look ghastly white! I stayed white all day, it didn’t come off until I took a shower, and came off as a white film. I thought I’d try something new, I have eczema and can only use a few brands. I tried this because of it being recommended for eczema. My completion is medium light, so unless you are very fair I don’t think you’d want to use this as daily sunscreen. It didn’t feel moisturizing at all. I think it does protect the skin good because it just sits on top, doesn’t soak in. I’m going back to No-ad brand.

Excellent sun protection
I use many Cera Ve products including this in the summer. Superior sun protection, and it does leave a whitish sheen but has no odor and is excellent for sensitive skin. I'm glad the formula includes both titanium dioxide and zinc (hence the whitish color) as you have to have both for truly effective sun block properties. As someone who's had skin cancer in the past, this is the only sunblock I'll use and it is the only one that completely blocks my skin from harmful UV rays. I'm out in the sun 3 hours a day while cycling, and if I didn't have this product, I wouldn't be able to do that. Highly recommended for those who are sincere about protecting their skin from the sun and don't care as much about how 'good' it looks on.

Could be so much better
It’s hard to rate this so low because I love all Cerave products but this is just not that great. I’ve only used it once and didn’t apply as they instructed so I’ll make sure to do that next time.Pros: no chemicals, great for sensitive skin as all sunscreens make me break out in hives all over my legs, and incredible sun protection with no need to reapply oftenCons: yes you turn ghastly white, white stuff gets everywherreeeeee, and it doesn’t really soak in and it isn’t water resistantI’m not going to throw it out as I’ll take looking like a ghost over hives any day but I’m still going to look for better.Apply before you leave the house because applying on the beach is a funny show for people around you.
