Very Fine Dance Shoes Men's C2503 Ballroom Shoes with 1" Heel

My wife and I are taking dance classes at the local ballroom dance-chain studio. You can probably guess the name! They suggest getting "real" dance shoes and wanted to sell me the $250 name brand out of their catalog. I found these on Amazon, and knowing the awesome return policy decided to give them a shot.They are perfect! The suede sole really does make a difference when dancing, and they look nice as well, like normal dress shoes. You could wear these to your office holiday party and nobody would say "Hey! Are those DANCE SHOES you are wearing?!" But when the music started, you would be ready to go!They come with a nice bag, which is great. Easy to carry to the studio. They also came with a wire brush, which I am told is so you can rough up the sole when the suede gets compressed/compacted. I have a feeling I wont be dancing enough to ever have to use it. :-)Now granted, I'm not a professional dancer. I'm not even very good! I'm just a middle aged guy learning to Salsa, Swing & Foxtrot with his wife. Are there better dance shoes? Probably. Are there more expensive shoes? Definitely. Are these cost effective, good looking and perfect for me? Absolutely!

These are tight as expected for dance shoes; therefore, they fit as expected. I wore them for only one to two hours each time for the first few weeks until they broke in. They are good quality and have lasted several months of dance lessons and still look almost new. They make my foot look smaller than my usual shoes, because they are so thin and tight. They work well for ballroom dancing, I would recommend.

It is my 3th dance shoes, previous ones were worned that's why I bougth these lovely shoes. I usually prefer well known brands(capezio, bloch, burju) but this time I gave a shot with very fine. Shipping was extremely fast, it arrived in 2 days after I requested seller to faster shipment, where amazon assumed shipping within 6days. So seller is responsive and helpful. It comes with a good looking bag and brush, shoes itself look good quality, and when I wear them I could feel that quality. It is a good product. Dance shoes are mostly smaller than street shoe size. Let say If you are wearing 11 then your great fit can be 10.5. Be aware about shoe sizes, if you know some instructers ask them to find out your shoe size before placing a order

I purchased the Very Fine dance shoes because they were made of real leather instead of plastic like Capezios. They are well constructed with a thin flexible sole. I ordered my regular shoe size 10 1/2 and they fit close in the toe but not tight. I have a narrower C width foot and I have room for an insole. If you have a wide foot I would order the one that comes in a wide width. I have danced for a year but this is my first purchase of dance shoes. I wanted a shoe that looked like a regular dress shoe instead of a bad basketball sneaker. I know you will be pleased as I am purchasing Very Fine Men's shoes.

After returning the first pair I ordered because they were too short, the second pair was fine - but they are a half size larger than I normally wear. I usually wear 10 1/2 narrow and 11 medium were the shoes in this model that fit. I have narrow feet and I suspect that those who normally wear D width or wider will find that none of the sizes offered will fit.

I ordered one size bigger than my regular shoes, which is what they are talking about in the customer review. This one feels like little bit larger, but that's a okay. The shoes looks great and good quality. It comes with shoe bag and wire brush. That's really convenient.

I wear 11.5 shoes for just about every type shoe/boot. These 11.5 were on the small side so I reordered 12. Arch support and cushion inserts don't come with the shoe. Recommend you install a good fitting insert. I just use this for hour long practice or two hour long dances. My first pair of dance shoes so I can't compare to others.

I needed a pair of salsa shoes for a class. I ordered my street shoe size, but they were too small. I returned them and ordered a full size larger than I normally wear and I'm happy with them. Since I only wear them for a two-hour lesson, they are fine, but they don't provide much cushion.
