Smart Sheep Premium Wool Dryer Balls 6-Pack

I bought these after spending a couple of weeks with my sister, who had them for her dryer. I would classify these as speed enhancers and wrinkle reducers for clothes drying and not softener; although there is perhaps some softening effect with towels and plush fabrics, the main benefits of these are their ability to reduce wrinkles while speeding the drying process. Do they make noise? No question. What else would you expect from something about the size and density of a tennis ball? If you fill the dryer to its max, they make less noise because they have less room, but they will dry clothes more efficiently if you use a smaller, not bigger, load. I use them for sheets because they help to reduce the "wadding effect" that many dryers have with sheets. I'm less likely to find my sheets in a wad at the bottom of the drum, still damp, when I use these. So you could call them energy savers as well, since in my case, I can often get away with one dryer cycle now with sheets instead of two or more cycles. The wrinkle reducing action is most effective when you use a low or medium spin speed on your washer. Using high spin speed on your washer can indeed reduce drying time, but high-speed spins tend to set in wrinkles as they work. Having a little more moisture in the clothes as they are transferred from the washer allows these balls to do their best work, with greater fabric contact, which translates to fewer wrinkles. One set of sheets I absolutely used to despise (because they come out of the dryer looking like they've been on the bed for three weeks) I now like because using these balls, they come out of the dryer looking ready to place on the bed and smooth out easily by hand.

I make all my own natural personal care items and have been switching to all natural cleaning items too. Laundry was one of the last things I switched over to natural homemade about a month ago, but seeing how fabric softener has probably the most cancer causing chemicals of any cleaning product and how great these dryer balls work, I should have done this a long time ago.I mean who doesn't take their clothes out of the dryer and give them a good inhale? I've been snorting carcinogens all this time! Now for scent I use essential oils. I refresh the scent every other load with a few drops to every ball. I can change it up every time. Think how much money it would cost to have a variety of different scents of fabric softener sheets! For the price of a box of bounce, you can buy a bottle of essential oil that will probably last you a year. AND These work great! My clothes dry faster and this is really effective for static. I had to make a couple of adjustments, but they're nominal, cheap, and easy, and to have a natural, safe and cheap alternative to drying clothes I'm all for it. I'm passing them on because I really want you to try these, especially if you have allergies, skin sensitivity, asthma,have had cancer, or if you have children or are elderly. 1. Synthetic clothes create more static. I used to dry everything on high when I used fabric softener sheets. I now use medium and dry for a little longer. More heat=more static. 2. If I am washing synthetic clothes I also put a little white vinegar right on each dryer ball before I start the dryer. I take the top off the bottle of vinegar, put the ball on the top of the bottle, and holding the ball securely on the top of the bottle, I tip it, just to get a little splash. The vinegar smell doesn't stay on the clothes. 3. For washing clothes, I use soap nuts. They have natural softening qualities too. My clothes come out softer every time. You throw 5-7 in a little bag they usually come with, and throw them in the wash. They dont work that well for cold in that form, however, so I take about 20 nuts, boil them in about 9 cups of water for about an hour and a half, and that makes a concentrate you can use for cold water. I use about 1/4-1/2 of a cup for every load and it's fabulous. All of these things work in a team to give you a great load of natural safe laundry, and these dryer balls are an essential part of that process. My dog commandeered one of these right out of the package. They're bouncy and light, and he loves to toss it around. Just a bonus if you have dogs!

Initial Use: I don't specifically check how many I put in; depending on my load size or other factors, I toss in all six to keep them consistent and replace all of them equally. I bought these to reduce the need to buy dryer sheets due to allergies, cost, and environmental concerns; it just feels wasteful to dispose of so many dryer sheets. I don't put essential oils on them, but you can if you wish to add some scent. However, I use them as it is for consistency. They do make a little sound in the dryer, but that is to be expected. In terms of drying time, they have significantly reduced the drying time of most of my clothes and items, while also effectively reducing static, comparable to the effect of a dryer sheet. It is easier to find these dryer balls because I can feel them, in case they get stuck in your clothes, compared to dryer sheets, which can be challenging to locate. It's significantly better than dryer sheets in almost every way possible. At the end of the day, you will need to find these dryer sheets in your clothes, just as you would see the dryer balls, but this time, you can reuse them. The initial price to buy these is not an excuse not to buy them, as dryer balls are only slightly more expensive than dryer sheets, ranging from $5 to $10. You'll save money in just a few months. The company is ethical in its production practices, and the individuals who make them are paid a livable wage, which is fantastic. But overall, the durability is excellent so far, with no signs of shedding. I plan to continue using these for at least 2-3 more years, as I have a considerable amount of laundry to dry regularly. Store these in a mesh bag or a well-ventilated area to prevent mold buildup. Overall Impressions: If you haven't used these yet, please do so; they are a massive game-changer in the long term!

I replaced my previous dryer balls because they were leaving filaments of wool all over my clothes. These dryer balls, as yet, don’t have that problem. They do a great job of reducing the length of time it takes to dry my things and thus saves on my electric bills. They also reduce wrinkles including those annoying deep set wrinkles.

The dryer balls work excellent. I won’t be buying fabric softener so I will be saving money. There is no static, just a clean natural smell.

I initially used them for a down coat and the coat came out nearly new. Since then I just leave the balls in the dryer, ready for the next load. They dry completely and the clothes have less wrinkles. The wool balls retain their firmness.

I love these dryer balls. My daughter recommended I use them instead of the normal dryer sheets. No sticky residue left on clothes, bed sheets, towels, etc.. Laundry dries faster and less static than before. I actually started spraying the dryer balls with a essential oil mixture to add a little fragrance to my laundry.

I brought jar, echo friendly wool tumble dryer balls after being highly recommended them by one of my friends. I have tried tumble dryer balls in the past but love the fact these ones are organic and cruelty free and come with a free lavender oil that makes the washing smell great, so much so I have cut out the fabric conditioner in my wash but the ultimate change was not having to iron as many clothes as the balls knock out the creases while drying,not having to iron mine and my children’s duvet covers has been a dream ! would make a great gift for any fellow hinchers ! and they are Available on uk prime

These are great! Not only do they give me peace of mind by removing the harsh chemicals from using dryer sheets, but they dry my clothes faster than the sheets do. I use them with essential oils for a nice added scent to my clean laundry.
